When you were eating the char siu the best place to eat is over your left shoulder ...Joo Chiat Beef King .their brisket soup with yellow noodle is the best thing..the soup is the same master stock that has boiled for 50+ years..the soup is alive..you missed out.

The pickled red ginger is beni shoga btw (also eaten with for instance Japanese curry, okonomyaki, yakisoba koppe/pan...), not to refuse with pickled sushi ginger called gari shoga. 🥰

I only got to eat Banh Canh Cua and chinese donut (Zau Ja Wai dau cha quay) in District 10 outside of Nguyen tri Phuong market in front of the alley, I ate 2-3 bowls each time
