PQ mode on it is actually WAY BETTER than Log. it only requires different workflow to apply. 1) First you need to always underexpose till you get all your lights fit in. 2) You need to transform its colorspace, which is Rec 2020 and gamma of ST2048 to your preferred colour space even C-log if you need to. 3) Bring back the exposure, WB, e.c.t. 4) Enjoy almost RAW like dynamic range!
I just got away from my Nikon d90 and bought the r50 the kit lens works ight. I got a ef adapter and shoot a lot of my car photography with a 28mm f1.8 and a 10-18mm for wider angles. It is an awesome camera with good glass that’s for sure. Shooting in full manual is a lot of touching on the screen there is only 1 dial to adjust with and an iso button. In C-raw it shoots about 15 frames a second at 1/4000 f 1.8 and around 30 in largest jpeg file. I haven’t done much filing with it yet hoping to do so soon. Sadly I feel like I’m already looking for a full frame body to replace it but I am being patient with my decision and using it for longer than 3 months lol
It's just the perfect camera for exactly that, even if you only get 3-6 months and feel like you want an upgrade, thanks to the r50 you've learned the art very quickly and can translate that to more advanced cameras 📷
Hey it's a very common lens, 24-105 is like the perfect range... with a lens like that, that's all you need to leave the house with and you're covered! It's stabilized and has autofocus. They have a cheaper version at about f5.6 and a more expensive one down to f2 or so. Go refurbished to save some cash!!
A6400 while it's the oldest it will produce the best looking images, plus it's the only one of the 3 that will shoot in log format and allow you to color grade. The Canon is thr best if you want ease of use, and a great camera to learn on while still being able to take professional shots.
Hi I have a question, there’s this sale going on right now in Canon Mexico and the deal is the Canon R50 + RF18-45 mm + RF 50 F1.8 STM + SD 32gb + extended warranty for 13,999 pesos which is about 750 dlls do you think is a good deal? Or should I buy things separately?
Nice video 👍 i have a few questions please reply. I'm a night vlogger so r50 is good in low light? And it doesn't have IBIS so suggest me a good lense for that and also suggest me a good lense for vlogs and landscape photography
@abdulhanan6245 the R50 will be better in low light then your iPhone, just be sure to get a lens with a low aperture like f1.8.... for landscape and vlogging, any lens 16-24mm will give a great look on that sensor size. Look for some affordable RF mount lenses with low aperture 16-24mm... if you can't find any good ones with those specifications, get an EF-RF adapter and browse the EF mount lenses instead. Hope this is helpful! With all this, the low light will be great compared to iPhone and work for your use case.
Great video, I made my videos using a Galaxy S21 and I'm thinking in doing an upgrade, but I don't know If this camera could get me the 0.5 (ultrawide) that the galaxy offers.
Absolutely! U just set the dial to auto mode and fire away! All modern mirrorless cameras have this feature, canons auto mode works very well, auto focus is great!
@marimaureenanunciaciongome3669 fire away meaning you put it on the auto mode and your able to point and shoot without having to manually set any of the settings like shutter speed, it will do it all for you. You can treat it like a point and shoot if you choose. And there is a built in flash as well
I think if I converted correctly your asking for the best camera under about $1500... there are soo many options based on what you want to be shooting but assuming you want to prioritize filmmaking like me, I would suggest a maybe a sony a6400 if you want a hybrid photo/video, something small, log video. If you're more serious about video consider the black magic pocket 4k that's what I use, I'll have a full review coming soon but I have tons of content talking about it! It's much more manual and involved compared to a sony or canon but much more cinema focused and the most beautiful image at this price point. These options should come in slightly under budget so you can grab a lens!
@@TOMMYBMP yep u have converted correct What about nikon zf? Or is there any other good than in this price segment? I just click photos and small videos for a reel
@farhanishaq7 ahh so in your case a zf is a good choice if your more into photography and compact cameras. The lumix GX9 is also a great choice if you want to go with micro four thirds sensor. I'd also recommend any of the fuji cameras in your price point give a really nice feeling, if you like the zf tho that will be great for you!

@unknownplayrs2023 that may vary based on the brand that makes the adapter... as long as you get one that's verified by canon they'll be no issues or loss of quality 👌

seems to me like a good deal. I paid $750 for mine and that was only with the 18-45mm. you may want to upgrade the sd card but overall a good value.
