In this video I show off a locked dungeon doors contraption I came up with and how to build it yourself. Feel free to use this in your own creations! World Download: tinyurl.com/Dun...
This was the most intuitive description of a command block set up I've seen. You didn't show the exact command for every command block (and you don't need to; people can look each up on their own) but you did effectively explain how the overall command block "engine" of sorts works. Thanks! :)
Hey! I thinked you did code the command blocks! I reached at the map theres an folder called '###MCEDIT TEMP###'! You didnt code them! BUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
I really love the way you show the command blocks' commands. It's really detailed. seems like you are kinda new to youtube but hey, I must say. Keep up the good work :3
One thing though; the clock keeps on telling [@: Block placed] and then the "The door is locked!" just goes past in the chat in not even a second… how can I fix that?
/give Logstoneable minecraft:Subscriber 1 0 {display:{Name:"Congratulations! You just earned a new subscriber!",Lore:[Wait, is this supposed to be like this?]}} I think I did something wrong with this. XD
Well, if you do that, you'll only give Logstoneable 0 subscribers with the damage value of 1. It's supposed to be 0 first, then 1 X) EDIT : I messed up that one. Forget it
For all of you who are aware of the piston_extention being removed, I have a solution: piston_head. This block, when in contact with another block, will disappear. Basically, if you right click it with a block, it will vanish. What you can do is use command blocks to make it so that air is constantly being placed on the area where you place your block. The result will be: 1. you place block on piston_head 2. piston_head disappears 3. block you placed is turned into air by command block setup Hope this helps!
Logstoneable First of all, sorry if my english have something wrong ... I watched your videos command block and found it very cool, just that when I try to do I can never, until I downloaded the map of this video, and it does not funcinou in my minecraft, can it help me?
The "piston_extension" block has been replaced with "piston_head", which is replaced with air when a block is placed upon it rather than when it is right-clicked.
LegoEhitaja Yes i even build a map in Adventure Craft :D Its alot of fun building stuff there because you got alot of different "command blocks" which are filling, killing etc. in a spezific area or the whole camera view stuff :D and of course the items (bumarang, bombs, umbrella and espeically the hookshot!) and its not even hard to do ...
But now it's not being played so much anymore because you can do everything with commandblocks in normal minecraft.Has anyone played the zeldamap by gary555 (i think his name was gary555 i don't know :D)?
So you mean to tell me, that you actually made a floor with the pattern of a wooden block, then walked around and filled a map? You really are dedicated to this project.
It was quite simple, the dungeon was easy, you throw in the mob loot to gather the key, then you throw the key in a hole and I used gravel for the door, if then falls and the door is open
You have to put it in the correct order so setblock ~ ~-1 ~ redstone_block on top and setblock ~ ~1 ~ air on the bottom and but a redstone block in the middle by hand.
I love how you Wrap Everything around Zelda :D
I love the way you setup your video
Looks like a ancien mod called AdventureCraft
I think so! :D
Adventure craft was very fun right? Now it's not being used anymore because normal minecrft has the tools to do what adventure-craft did.
Wow.... Another awesome use for block 36

Obviously I use mcedit, for example to build that dungeon.
Now there's an resorce pack. Why do people hate them so much? Why do haters got to hate about this stuff - wait there maps. *SPLENDID
Well yea, if I make something I make it 1000‰ vanilla. ;)
IT'S ADVENTURECRAFT!!!!!!
You should put together all your medieval creations and make one epic map.

seems like you are kinda new to youtube but hey, I must say. Keep up the good work :3
VERY cool! The video layout is perfect, and the sort-of tutorial is easy to follow. Great job, please make more!! :3
wow, you're videos are really nice, easy to understand from a developers perspective, and they are vastly entertaining. Subscribed!
One thing though; the clock keeps on telling [@: Block placed] and then the "The door is locked!" just goes past in the chat in not even a second… how can I fix that?
Wow, this guy reeeeeally need more love. (I mean things like more likes, less dislikes, and of course, a LOT more subs.
Adventure Craft! It even looks like the zelda map!
I was thinking it was a somehow invisible locked chest named door :D i was completely wrong
you really took so much time to make all details...
LIKE & SUB!
Great door and very nice tutorial. But ther is one problem i can't download the map. Its very wel made and i hope to see moor of this.
I love how you has to use MCedit for stuff like this back then, but now, you can do it all in vanilla.
Obviously Inspired by AdventureCraft Mod
I feel so good making a mob luring device, then you make something like this :D
You should think about doing a remake of the adventure craft Zelda.
Can you show a tutorial of building the door with the command blocks so we can do it easily?
Very nice! Can you put up a map download? I really wanna take a look at this!
Really Clean tut, wish they were all like this.
thumbsup
this reminds me of adventurecraft!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I did something wrong with this. XD
I think you need quotes at the lore
NecropoGames nope y' don't if you don't need commas
NecropoGames nope y' don't if you don't need commas
i think your supposed to replace that 1 with 100000
Well, if you do that, you'll only give Logstoneable 0 subscribers with the damage value of 1. It's supposed to be 0 first, then 1 X)
EDIT : I messed up that one. Forget it
I tried to make one, but the maps looked terrible, so nevermind.
with that i mean, based on adventurecraft, not in adventurecraft
Are there any downloads for the map's images?
you are seriously talented, still amazed at what this game can do
looks like it no longer works on 1.12 HELP PLZ!!!
Welp! Time to make Binding of Steve XD
You ginally have an intro and its pretty awsome
This reminds me of Legend of Zelda
Advenurecraft is back, baby!
Like the door from Advanture Craft!!!
Finally one that looks good,
They used that trick on this zelda map
Amazing
no more adventure craft needed!

Nevermind. :/ Instead of doing all this, you could simply test for a block at a location and when it's there, delete blocks or whatever. :/ crud...

TrickyThunder
You could create your OWN maps? Downloading now, 1.7.2 here I come!
LegoEhitaja Yes i even build a map in Adventure Craft :D Its alot of fun building stuff there because you got alot of different "command blocks" which are filling, killing etc. in a spezific area or the whole camera view stuff :D and of course the items (bumarang, bombs, umbrella and espeically the hookshot!) and its not even hard to do ...

adventurecraft much? xD
So you mean to tell me, that you actually made a floor with the pattern of a wooden block, then walked around and filled a map? You really are dedicated to this project.
o
I acturely did exactly the same, but in 1.8, piston_extension is removed! :O We must rise and bring piston_extension back to where it belongs!
"piston_head", mate. It doesn't disappear when clicked, yet when a block is placed next to it, which allows for similar functionality.
One sub for you
I love AdventureCraft! Its so sad that nobody uses it anymore :( It was a great mod
I'm thinking about making a sort of adventurecraft map in vanilla.
In new 1.8 it doesnt work
Zelda ? nintendo xD
You're brilliant mate
Much Legend Of Zelda
Adventure craft..... :)
The dungeon is in the End.
How did you think of this
Neat!
You are really good!
You zelda bro?
how did you do the thing where it locks you in the room with the skelintons
+Mr.Kitty Cat Might be a /testfor command.
thats awesome :D
zelda XD
this is a mod.
Dat music at the end O_o. Great video as always!
you don't like the music? ;P
Logstoneable I would like to make an R.P.G map with you sometime
Lyon did you make the message appear?
tellraw @p {text:"The door is locked!"}
Zelda :D
Amazing!
Make map
nice
how do you get that kind of door
He used maps in item frames.
I made this on xbox without command blocks :P
It was quite simple, the dungeon was easy, you throw in the mob loot to gather the key, then you throw the key in a hole and I used gravel for the door, if then falls and the door is open
I meant I used gravel for the door, IK it tests for the item, although I made the dungeon do the same physics but not in the same way
Doesn't work in 1.8
You don't need to use 1.8, and even if you do use 1.8, there are methods to get the same result in a similar manner.
how'd u make it say "this door is locked"
/tellraw @a
+Sciontific Gaming /tellraw
I can't seem the get the one tick clock to work.
You have to put it in the correct order so setblock ~ ~-1 ~ redstone_block on top and setblock ~ ~1 ~ air on the bottom and but a redstone block in the middle by hand.
Oh thanks, I had it upside-down.
how do u get to place blovk 36?
It's name is piston_extension
So /setblock [x] [y] [z] piston_extension
thx so much!
theres a Zelda minecraft map using this
I'm happy to hear that! ^_^

adventure craft map zelda :)
Lol, AdventureCraft :D
I know right! Amazing what we can do in vanilla these days! :D
I mean AdventureCraft door :D
That's what inspired me :D
No dislikes! Good job, man!
knock on wood ;)
how did you make that wooden door?
I used texelelf's 'map it!' filter for mcedit to convert a .png into a minecraft map.
ok thxs :D
