    Warne was the physio at Rotherham and had to be persuaded to take the job on a temporary basis at RU. He's a really honest genuine guy and didn't think he was gualified enough to become their permanent manager but he grew into the role and became a success. The opportunity to join Derby is a natural progression and suits both parties. DC are a bigger club offering a bigger challenge with much more potential. As PW said in his heart it was tough decision to leave Rotherham but using logic it's an easy decision.

    Really took a shine to Paul Warne after the Moment of Truth podcast. Really great bloke joining a club that I have a soft spot for. All the best Rams.

    Reading between the lines, not just this interview mind it seems that Warne's departure may not have been as amicable as we are led to believe.

    You got to admire warnes achievements at Rotherham on shoestring and he will be at a much bigger club and good luck to him and should do well there .

    Why are people negative? Warne knows how to get a club with next to nothing and continually losing it's assets promoted why will it be different at Derby?

      Because it's Derby County.

    Paul Warne and the rest of the back room boys are all good lads so he should do well at Derby. Rotherham’s problem is the owner will not spend any money. It’s time to sell the club Tony and let someone with ambition take over.

    I hope Derby County supporters understand .. That now you have gone with Paul.. it means you will yo yo up and down .. That's Pauls level it's like groundhog day .. Meanwhile Rotherham will go from strength to strength if they recruit well... Having listened to Paul I am a Sunderland fan I think he should do well, But who can tell .. Rotherham were doing so so well .. I hope they get a good manager/coach

      @@dylantheramsfan Hi Dylan Yes afterwards I read about the new owner... We at Sunderland had to wait for 4 seasons to get an owner who knows football and has the funds... He seems to be a good guy.. I was really just having a joke .. But football is serious for us fans

    Bigger club, better training ground and academy and better chance to get out of Championship to the Premier League (once we get in there). Rotherham perpetual yo-yo club.

      it is not that easy is it.. I usually think if the owners have a plan if they understand football .. then you can go on a journey. Will Derby's owners David Clowes be a success

      Look what he did to Rotherham they looked down and out before he joined they were basically in the same situation as us and he took them to the championship 3 times in a row he knows this league and with the quality of our squad I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays for a while tbh

    • @roba3074
      @roba3074 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He lasted 5 years at Rotherham because Chairman stayed loyal. Derby won’t give him same time. Look at how long they gave Rosenior. If they don’t go up this year he’s a goner
