Who cares about the aerodynamics looking like a discontinued model. This Silverado line-up kills it as a solid pick up truck design. Rented one from Avis and the tail gating cook out was a blast and the truck bed hauled everything along to and from the game with ease. This is the best Silverado chevy has produced, hands down.
@@kelviskelvis7140 Anecdotal experience means squat... my comment was intended to say that this EV truck looks like the Avalanche, not a Silverado, as the title and name of this vehicle is apparently Silverado; it does not look like one. Nothing to do with experiences or aerodynamics.

I vote for a part 2 where you review the towing capabilities 👀 I’m on the waitlist for one but not sure how I feel about towing my cars with it.
My Dealer in Sechelt, BC Canada has one on order and I will be test driving it, another person we know has the WT4 work truck and has praised it's range towing a RV Trailer, did really really well on range, and we will be towing our RV with this also, should be interesting.

I personally love the design, but that weight, tho. 8500+ pounds is nutty... Cool truck nevertheless. However, I wish they had a 6.2L variant.

@@mattblock6616 This is the better Silverado line up. The 6.2L engine is slated to have a Particulate Filter Cleaner (using DEF) just like diesel engines in MY2027. Time to go BEV.

Best range, especially towing. Best bed length. Best charging speed. Best regen level. Best turning radius, despite being long. Loses to Rivian off road and in handling.
Ohhhhhh $100k. How cheap! I can surely afford that thing with my $72k per year salary. And I represent the mayority of the people in the US. If course I'm being sarcastic. Where's the $15k good affordable small pick up truck (basic truck) GM? This is just insanity. But these too big to fail companies know that the government will come and save them AGAIN once they are almost bankrupt. $100k truck GTFO!
There’s just no way to build a truck remotely like this for $15k regardless of the powertrain.

Depends on what you are getting a truck for. Rivian wins off road. Chevy wins for range and bed capacity.
