Listen bud, you keep talking our ear off in the beginning. These in depth explanations and justifications for your decisions, they really do go a long way for us. You give me confidence that I can get the job done in my own automotive ventures.
This is quite entertaining. I have one of those fozzys. Amazing to see that much gain on the auto. And the improvement in fuel economy. Very interested to see how you convert it to a manual.
Thats awesome. Makes me feel better about my wife's numbers, her 04 xt auto makes 224whp and 276wtq at 18psi on vf39 on a safe and conservative tune. Same mods and tuner on my 5spd 04XT resulted in 274whp and 295wtq @ 18.5psi just for side by side comparison for everyone.
I like these videos. I'd like to see more about Justin's car or stock location turbos on an STI because I'm interested in how far you can push a stock location turbo and what is involved in fitting larger stock location turbos (aftermarket intake manifold, fat gaskets?, block clearance?) as well as pros/cons. I assume people go rotated for a reason.
2 Years ago I made the jump to E85 after being on Cobb Stage 2+ w/ a Tomei Expreme Ti single exit. It's my daily and it has a stock motor and VF48 turbo, w/ 90k miles. I upgraded injectors, fuel pump, fuel rails, fuel regulator w/ P&L TGV/airpump deletes. Perrin TMIC, ceramic coated Tomei ELH, ceramic coated P&L uppipe w/ TurboSmart 40mm EWG w/ dump tube. All said and done it made 310whp on 93 and 350whp on E85. Sadly dynojet could not record torque but you could feel it was up near the WHP if not more.. That being said EWG w/ dump tube is my favorite mod. The reason we all love turbo cars is the noises they make and running an EWG makes it even better! You know you're making power when you hear the EWG opens up.
Love this series. I'm currently building an '04 FXT, and honestly I have no idea what I'm doing. 😂 I've been trying to learn all I can from the internet. I appreciate these videos.
one thing that would be cool to see is the stock td04 with an EWG. I've seen forum legends about that setup. crazy fast spool and the EWG lets the exhaust breathe up top.
Man Bader, I’ve always wanted this year for a fun daily! That steering wheel looks sick! My favorite steering wheel I’ve ever had! That was until some asshole smacked the back of my 2021 wrx and totaled it! Watching your channel makes me miss my first subaru! Was a Honda, evo 8 guy! Was always like I’ll never get a subie 😂 I was impressed with the bang for buck!
In the process of 6 speed swapping my automatic forester right now as well! Same color and everything lol. Great to see you tearing this thing apart and learn a thing or two.
Hi Bader thanks for the videos, how about getting a valve body mod for quick and firmer shifts it also increases transmission line pressure so the trany does not slip. It's just a thought 🤔
If I have a 2005 Subaru Outback non turbo vehicle from factory and I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza we’d wagon and want to take the wax motor and put it in the 2005 Subaru Outback what else would I have to do to make the car work since it’s going from a non ti to motor tk a etc turbo motor . Would I have to use the computer from the wrx wagon on the outback wagon for the car to work .
This Forester looks and sounds like a really nice car!!! Love the video and the explanations. I would love an auto Forester XT! Do you know if you can swap a facelift auto in a non-facelift Forester SG?
Still got the 06 OBXT stock engine with 115K+. So did you reprogram the ECU/ECM directly for stage 1 & 2 or did you do it through an access port and would you recommend using an access port? The increae in fuel economy increase is more important than power right now. Oh, about what's the cost of just doing stage 1+ if I got it reprogrammed to stage 1 initially?
Did you have to change anything to get the heated seats working? And how did you get the steering wheel to work with the cruise control? Would love to see a video on those mods as well!!
I just replaced fuel pump, Cobb rails, 1050cc injectors, and fuel lines on my 2015 STI. Put the fuse back in for the fuel pump and went to prime it and there’s nothing. Replaced the fuse and fuel pump and still nothing. Any thoughts?
I figured it out, had a hose hooked up incorrectly on the fuel pressure regulator that blew the fuses. Hooked it up correctly and replaced with another new fuse. Fired right up.
All hail master Bader!!🤌

Personally I enjoy the extra talk...especially while I'm listening on the job, I really can't watch so keep the talk coming.
My boy Rome just gifted his son a 2006 Forester XT and it already has the Cobb AP with a tune. Cool vehicle's.
This is quite entertaining. I have one of those fozzys. Amazing to see that much gain on the auto. And the improvement in fuel economy. Very interested to see how you convert it to a manual.
Love following this build. Definitely my favorite body style forester.
Definitely excited for the future of this build. I can’t wait to see how far the automatic goes. Vf48 was quite the upgrade.

Very interesting to see the Auto vs MT charts with same mods, thanks!
What did you need for the sti steering wheel to work into the forester?

Oh and stock VF48 w/ ewg was running at ~22.5PSI on E85. Still going strong!

That’s a lot of money to put into a build around a tiny turbo, way past the point of diminishing return.
Always loved these foresters! Cant wait to see what you got in store for it!
this is one build i am happy about because i have the same setup just that mine is a manual. steps to take for me. keep going.

Awesome video. Can't wait to see the limit of the trans
Pretty hot parts delivery pal 😅
Steering wheels nice
Nice clean set up. Keep up the geat work. Glad to see some new content.
How’s the k24 Subaru coming along
Hi Bader thanks for the videos, how about getting a valve body mod for quick and firmer shifts it also increases transmission line pressure so the trany does not slip. It's just a thought 🤔
Awesome gains on the stage 2.5!!!
What does it take to swap that sti steering? Would it work for an 07 wrx?
Don’t skimp on stock stuff. Go built, go big or go home! Buyin makes smilin!! 🤑

Steering wheel makes those STI seats look like they were born there. So fresh!
Stage 2.5+ 😂
Would the turbo from a Sti Impreza fit right on yeah?
Will you ever test the new "SPT" on the 2022 wrx?
This Forester looks and sounds like a really nice car!!! Love the video and the explanations. I would love an auto Forester XT! Do you know if you can swap a facelift auto in a non-facelift Forester SG?
He’s like yoda in the Subaru world
Very interested in the build as it's an Auto (not too may vids on auto's). Any way to make it shift quicker as well?
Loved watching the automatic on the dyno. Thought it might blow the trans. Keep pushing her
Love forester man im on my 3rd. 04 FXT 5 speed
my 04 forester is basically fbo except for stock injectors, it made 250 on the dynapack with my 5 speed 👌🏽upgrading to e85 ebay turbo and ewg soon
hi, tell me on Legacybm9 jdm which more efficient intercooler to install ready-made solutions, I can’t find something, can you tell me I’m from Russia
this is fun to watch the progression. It's weird mine is @ 22psi vf52, aem340, fpr, stock injectors, and only like 80% duty cycle in the high rpms.
We like the daily uploads 😄 ❤
Please fix that damn rear license plate light 😂😭😭
300whp 300wtq possible with a vf48,38mm ewg,525 injectors and 340lph fuel pump?
Made like 415 wheel torque on that dyno and threw a stock rod into the coolant passover on top of the block 2 months later😆

Can you run this out until you blow the 4eat! Before you 6 speed swap.
idk if he can. I'm at 400hp on a 4EAT with 268k miles and the damn thing won't die
@@jeremiahjorenby2275 i just got done installing a trans go in my 5eat pan is drying as we speak!!
@@mikev350z got a 5eat in my jdm sti. it rips
@@mikev350zHow bad was the install?
@@85mmonroe install is very staright foward. Follwing climbers write up as well!

Terrified to throw more boost at mine but this makes me feel encouraged!
I seen in another video you got a NEW dyno!!! You’re holding out on us with the video!! LOL
Is that stock injectors ?
Random question, looking to buy some BBS STI 04 rims. Does anyone can recommend where? I live in Tampa Btw
One for the auto boiz lol. Can't wait to swap my Bugeye but it always amazes me how much difference there is between the turbskis. 😂
Sick video man❤
To the moon bud 🚀
Lmk if you wanna get that FP green off your hands after the fp black goes on. You tuned my 14 STI (; i'd get ID1300's to go in with that

Did you make sure to plug in the pump on top and inside fuel hanger?
Yes it’s definitely plugged in. Checked for codes but it’s not throwing any
I figured it out, had a hose hooked up incorrectly on the fuel pressure regulator that blew the fuses. Hooked it up correctly and replaced with another new fuse. Fired right up.
You reccomend 10w-30 over 5w-40 in the winter?
