    Thanks for this great video Lucas. The New Year has started with a shocker...😲...you saying that you're considering replacing TickTick as your daily driver with Asana! 😅 I look forward to hearing more about this (if it happens!) and your other videos and tips for 2023! 😊

    Very powerful and detailed review of these most beloved applications. One of your best videos to close out the year. I think I agree with pretty much all of your assessments of these applications. TickTick is a clear winner, but it’s the ugliest car on the lot with the most features. It just doesn’t flow for me. It’s the most comfortable versatile pair of shoes that happens to look like moon boots. I’m very excited about Taskade, however it doesn’t integrate well with the Apple ecosystem. , no iCal, no Apple Watch, no Reminders sync, and she doesn’t play nice with other applications. There is weak mobile support, so if you want to take advantage of all this app offers, you need a desktop. Taskades tool are absolutely amazing. 4 views including mind mapping and hundreds of templates that would fit your needs

    I like your videos! Thanks for your hard work; I know it takes time, but it's worth it for us. Your unbiased reviews of task/project management software are great. Including a monthly calendar score would be helpful, especially since TickTick has its drag-and-drop functionality.

    I love this video. One question though: I see that Asana and Trello are ranked fairly high, but dragged down due to high cost. What about FOSS alternatives to Asana and Trello like WeKan and Focalboard? I would be very interested in a video review of these software, and perhaps a video on how to go about setting them up for GTD.

    Thanks for another awesome video, Lucas! Out of curiosity, why did Todoist get only a 4/5 in "Maintaining Productivity"?

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That is due to a lack of focus assistance features and a limited task activity log. Those two are important to me, but beyond that it's been great

    Can't find Habitica app in this list. Recommend for testing, this is not perfect tool but with great motivation to complete every single task!

    “To avoid any bias in this ranking video, I’m not going to present them in the order that I like them. instead, I’m going to present them in arbitrary alphabetical order to make it harder for people to find out which ones I like, because that’s not why they’re watching this video, right?”

    Don't understand your rating for NirvanaHQ. It completely is setup for GTD out of the box. No setup or course (except understanding GTD) needed. TickTick looks promising but you need endless labels to set it up, like the next label, that's standard in Nirvana! No setting for contacts, that means hundreds of labels in TickTick, it's standard in Nirvana.... Also area of focus is standard in Nirvana etc etc. So please look at Nirvana again because in my book and in my 10+ years as a GTD practitioner I could not find anything better. And for reference items? Onenote is best at that. I cannot see saving all those gigabites of reference materials in TickTick...

    I'm quite curious about what your thoughts on Super Productivity, as it's an open-source task manager, focused on time-boxing. It isn't as feature-rich as TickTick, but it's usable

    Thank you! I started using TickTick recently and your tutorials really helped with my setup. It has been a game changer for me!
