Have a 2003 skyline wipers and lights just turn themseles on and off no rev counter and no temp gauge working... also car stutters when on motorway sometimes and the at transmission light is on... im 95% sure its an electrical fault because it only started doing all this in the last few weeks.. and also battery sometimes drains itself overnight and needs to be jumpstarted.. am going to replace the electric box on battery terminal and reset computer to seeif this works over the next few days
I have a Nissan Maxima 2010 shut down on me. I has power but it won’t start. It has a little bit over 100k miles on it. It was driving good with no check engine lights when it happened. A mechanic told me it’s electrical problem. I am not sure what it is.

Hey i have this problem. So I never had any problem with my 2012 nissan maxima till now. I had a sterio hooked up but put had to have another part so waited there was one wire hooked up to the battery but now I've took it off cause I have no start. My battery is dead but I put another on it that I have on another car here and it still has no Start. Now my battery tho is dead so im thinking i need a new one now to but i still dont know why it wont start? @@seanj5259 Autozone told me the "cranking cell" in my battery went bad. Even after they charged battery it failed tests, so I got a new battery and It cranked up after that. But sounds like you have a bad alternator. Research videos on how to test your alternator.
I’d say try getting a new battery for your fob cheapest option and see if it works mine is doing it this morning but sure wasn’t the battery just did that this morning and still nothing
Found one of the fuse links blown… replaced the L shaped battery fuse, tried to start it & it immediately blew the new fuse. A friend told me after switching out the compressor they think the IPDM is going bad and needs replaced along and suspects the starter is the reason of the no start issue. Idk
@Brooke Jones did you ever find a fix. I just replaced that L fuse and lights started working but when I pushed the start button everything died again. The battery is also new.
My car wouldnt start Lights Signal works on car but wat happen I was putting a decoration for the start button while the car was off n when I wanted to start the car its not starting wat should I do
Dealing with this now it’s a very frustrating issue. First I still had power full power . I even bought a brand new battery. Thought that would be the solution then nothing still so I left it . Few days later went to try again and this time no power at all however I still get brake lights I bought a fuse kit to check all the fuses and after seeing this videos and others like it over TH-cam I will check that battery fuse as well. Since this happened there was only one time the car was able to jump start just so I can get it home after that wouldn’t start back up not even if I try to jump start
@@CDennis-zd1px yes I did get it running.. it was a few things. So I change that battery fuse although it wasn’t blown but it was old and corroded I also changed the starter just to be safe and I change the ignition relay that was actually no good
Happened to me on my Sentra and no jump would work. The battery 🪫 fuse at the top that attaches to the positive terminal is busted! Replaced it, happened again. Looks like there is an electrical shortage or issue that is causing this.
I changed out the fusible link for my 2013 Nissan Ultima but now the red key is blinking on the consul in my vehicle when I start I will try the wiring harness leading to the fusible link I believe they are called PCM. Right now my vehicle will not start
Same problem here. Replaced the fusable link and still no power. Did have a strong smell of burnt wires at the beginning of the issue. Anyone know what wire would fry or where the ground is connected to the frame? Drove perfect & now just dead with a good battery. Gave no symptoms except the corroded battery terminal & a burnt wire smell.
@@youmeandus3127 It's prob just an electrical issue. Maybe a short somewhere or maybe a disconnected ground. Not the worst situation. Just find the electrical short or ground issue and your car will work like it did before.
Thanks for the quick response. Turns out it might of been a corroded ground connection. Once I got power to the car it wouldn't hold a charge. So now I think the short must've been the wiring harness to the alternator or the alternator itself burned out. I'm guessing that's the burnt smell was. Thank for assistance boss.

Car didn’t have any power no jump start took this out and it was blowed went and got another put it in cranked car and it worked

just happened to me after my battery going bad...MAxima won't start, just clicks. Not even with a jump. going to try this solution . wish me luck...
What happened? my 2011 just died on me no crank no lights nothing, I replaced the battery and alternator worked for a day and now it has no life

I'm finding it to be kinda repetitive without any actual fact or usable information. Other than look for a fuseable link. That's all I got out of it.

You prob blew a fuse or shorted the push start button.

Try connecting the cable straight to the battery and see if there's any power...really should be easy to troubleshoot this.
