  • It's a movement growing by leaps and bounds in private and Catholic schools, the return to classical education. The curriculum focuses on building young minds to pursue truth with a focus on the fine arts, classical literature and the history of civilization. In an age when test scores are plummeting and woke agendas permeate schools, is the classical route the answer? For a long time, classical education was the cornerstone of Catholic and Christian schools. It was the curriculum of many of our grandparents. Founder and CEO of the Classic Learning Test, Jeremy Tate, joins to share what it was replaced with and why. Tate explains what has happened in the wake of the overall departure from the classical model and whether this could be why we are seeing the rise of concepts like critical race theory as well as plunging test scores in schools. Tate believes classical education is the answer. He discusses why that is and what it provides students with that both educates them and equips them for life.
