disliked this video wherefore RedFalcon or Sime was too dumb to spell plurals-the same problem as you I see. RF also pluralized a maker, doesn’t seem to know the level viewer exists, still calls this game Mario Maker, said you guys and you guys’s, said that something unproven is a theòry, and said dude-this shit-head doesn’t learn.

Sometimes finding the worst level in the game is more of an art than a science, that's why I had to go between different ways to sort them. When Raysfire and I were first looking through this we tried to sort by number of boos, but the most boo'd level turned out to be the most liked level in the game as well, just like a YT like/dislike ratio looking at a video in terms of just thumbsdown alone does not give the full story. So then we looked at boos/likes but then there was the problem that NINTENDO themselves appearantly for some troll level makers decided to reset the number of likes to 0 for this level, which of course messed with the data. Then we finally decided that maybe boos / plays was the way to go, and there were some truly despicable monstrosities in the data!
I mean the most disliked TH-cam video certainly lived up to it.

A better way to do this is to compute confidence intervals. Look up the article "How Not to Sort By Average Rating" by Evan Miller.
sign(boos−likes)(boos−likes)^2/players is the best formula. Of course players who first exit aren’t counted however.

So there is no truly horrible terrible no good very bad Mario Maker 2 Level? So impossible levels are nearly impossible to make and what about ugly level? That can be very terrible level

I dunno, the fact that a tool had to be created to make these levels less than soul destroying is a good argument for them being the worst
I still think “Find The 3 Keys” is worse than the water one. You have to find each block, but if you die you have to remember where each block was.
Just for all who dont know: There is a free Programm that allows you to view every mario maker 2 level. You can see everything! Hidden blocks, what's inside of the blocks, if Boom Boom has a key or not, and so on. Even sub worlds are possible to view
That makes it very simple to find the hidden keys in these terrible levels, it takes legit about 2 minutes and then another 2 minutes to clear the level.
EDIT: The MM2 youtuber PePanga uses that programm, so you can check him out if you wanna see how it looks like.
I was wondering if anyone was going to acknowledge this, with the program these pointless pick a paths and endless boxes are not the most annoying.
Not even just programs, but there are also sites, where you just key in the game code.

Find the key could be worse if they did it in the Ghost House theme with night mode.
I was gonna say that underwater night mode would be worse, since it's also dark. But tbh making it not a water level is worse, since you have to actually jump on the blocks and avoid falling
In addition to ghost house night mode, have an on/off switch go off at the start where the player can't hit it to change it back. When it's in OFF mode in night theme, your circle of vision is 1 tile smaller.

Panga found a time-limited level where you had to build a bridge (clear con has you hit all) by hitting invisible blocks, except all the blocks could only be hit with a triple jump
I once did a level where you have to build stairs by hitting invisible blocks. At one point you had to find the blocks to even be able to find the correct blocks you need to beat the section.It's definitely very high up there too.

Few reasons why someone would know where things are. They get lucky, They waste their time searching, or they use smm2 level viewer. I doubt someone would waste their time trying to find a key in some of them levels but they could.
Alternate name: Redfalcon vs the worst Little Timmy, Stupid Precise, random guessing, and super boring levels
These levels are exactly why the level viewer was created.

I think Boo's/Plays would be a much more accurate formulae for the worst levels, with maybe a minimum of say 50 plays or something like that for it to count, to filter out a level with say 1 play and 1 boo

I thought of a worse level idea. Remember Joel's CBT level? Make the player go through an entire _filled_ room with the, with CBT ice blocks. Put a key at the end and then _make the player do the entire room in reverse._

Someone should make a level that is really really annoying and hard at the beginning, leaving the player with barely enough time to do anything, then it should transition into a massive grid of bricks, only one of which has the key, with the rest having instant death. The key should also open multiple doors, most of which are deadly and only one of which leads to a really loud, bright, and horrible kaizo section that finally leads to the goal. There should also be a massive time constraint that forces the player to beat the level extremely quickly.
Just a thought.

nope,the worst is "carl goes to loss vegas nevada", a RNG troll level that you need to collect red coins from randomly chosen door and have chance not save the coin,and some coin even get you red coin depand on rng.

I have a worse level haha. I took enemy spam to the next level. Max amound of enemies. Max amount of arrows, blocks. And no power ups and alots of hidden pswitches. And thats nonstop for about 6 min 😅 i knew the correct way to beat it and it took me along time

Random is not as bad with level viewer. The worst I ever saw was the one where you balance a pow on your head for several minutes

The worst level I’ve had was this level you got the smb mushroom and you had to just non stop pull clouds and you only got 300 seconds and it was just hell
