Hank "Maybe I'm not the man I thought I was." I would argue he proves himself as more. Even with PTSD, he processes the best course of action - he stays and fights.
Hank did the right thing - He was protecting Marie by staying. Also, by being warned, that was his best chance to fight back. They didn't know their surprise attack was ruined - it made them careless. If he ran, he has no guarantee of a warning call for their next "hit" attempt. If they knew he was there at that time, then it makes sense they know how to track him. They would kill Marie as well if she were around on the next attempt. Hitmen don't leave witnesses. Hank is a trained DEA Agent and knew all of these things I just mentioned. Hank may suffer from PTSD, but he has been able to pull it together and take appropriate action when it really counts. PS: great reaction - did you note the time on the clock in Hank's car? 3:07 to 3:08 - this is episode 307.

@@orangewarm1 Hank is no dummie. Sorry to disagree but Hanks training kicked in. Hank knew they were able to track him. Hank knows hitmen willing to kill DEA agents don't leave witnesses. So, yes, by staying, Hank was also protecting Marie. If he runs, they could go after him again and possibly when he is with Marie. Hank also knows there is no guarantees of getting another warning. The brothers lost their element of surprise and didn't know it. That mades them careless. Hank knew that as well. Staying was the smartest move.

@@davidlai9227 that's bullshit, I watched Breaking Bad recently only knowing the finale from memes and I was able to predict some of the stuff, like Skylar cheating when I seen Ted, that Walter will use bomb with Hector when he was offering him a revenge etc. if you watched or read diffrent stories before breaking bad, you can see stuff that have similarity with diffrent series, maybe if I would watch it when it came out I would be more supriased about some of the stuff, but a lot of shows was inspiered by Breaking Bad and Breaking Bad was inspiered by some trops from gangster movies, games or stories.

It's easy to forget all the crap that Jesse has gone though since he partnered up with Walter.
1. He got brutally beaten by Tuco
2. Walter promised Tuco more meth than he and Jesse could manufacture
3. They were taken into hiding and he was held at gunpoint because Walter picked an isolated place to meet up
4. Jesse was questioned and lost all his money to Hank and became homeless short period of time
5. Walter would refuse to listen to Jesse and verbally abuse him
6. Walter started getting greedy and made jesse branch out of their territory and it cost Jesse's friend getting shot
He wasn't wrong when he said that things got wrong when he partnered up with Mr. White.
On the side note, your reactions at 16:20 reminded me of the one when you watched Deku vs. Muscular from BOHA.
Not to mention the stuff Jesse doesn't know about, like Jane.

Hank's a DEA agent...he's not gonna run the nanosecond someone anonymous voice says someone is going to kill him. He's gonna assess the situation first. For all he knew, instantly pulling out of the parking spot would have made it easier for him to be killed.

Walt wanted Jessie to start selling outside their territory and Combo died

Jessie starts cooking again and walt tries to kick him out the business, takes the RV and doesn't let him know a DEA agent is following him which got him beat up
Jessie had to see a man head get crushed because Walt wanted him to go after some randos
Jessie pays for Walt mistakes not his own

First, he couldn't because he was having one of his signature PTSD panic attacks where he "freezes up," and second, if he left, the twins would've just followed him home and killed Marie as well.

Lee Lorenz The phone call said “to kill you.” I’d expect them to shoot a moving car trying to quickly back out of a packed parking lot he’d probably have to reverse drive 2 or 3 times, which would leave him distracted.
The reason he didn’t leave was because he didn’t want them to follow him to his house where Marie was. Even if he left right away they were still going to try to kill him another time. He also mentioned earlier in the episode how recently he has a tendency to “freeze up.”

@@orangewarm1 they knew he was in that particular car park at that time, what car he drived, and he knew someone else knew his cel number to warn him and that they were specifically going to kill him and were organized and had information. He also works in the DEA dealing with drug cartels. Course they'd know where he lived or could find that out.

Where would he go? Home to his wife and put her in danger too? At least in the parking lot he knows when and where they are coming. That's the best place to deal with them. If he leaves he endangers his family and the attackers have the advantage of being able to strike when he's not ready. They can wait another week or even months. Nobody is going to be on guard 24/7 and he's not getting an indefinite security detail based on an anonymous phone call.

There's a pretty well known suspenseful scene that has been known to have people squirming in their seats with tension. There's a story that at the premiere showing a woman in the audience grabbed her husband's arm and shouted 'DO SOMETHING!!". (Also, it's just a classic - Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly...probably my favorite Hitchcock movie.)
