Excellent. I much prefer the Jomtien bus as it’s near my condo 😀
Thanks for the info.
you can book online for the bus services and it's a good idea otherwise you might face a one to 2 hour or even longer wait
Yes you can. Watch this for more tips and tricks. th-cam.com/video/xlVnMJwzu_8/w-d-xo.html
Jomtiem is the best choice particularly if you are staying in Soi Buakhao, Chaiyapoon etc. As the North Pattaya bus drops of at the beginning of Pattaya klaeng and the baht buses charge a taxi rate to reach the affore mentioned areas. So go to Jomtien and get two baht buses for an extra B20 back to Pattaya city centre area's, as opposed to the costly baht bus taxis, which charge about B100+ and aren't very frequent. Alternatively push the boat out and get an airport cab for B1200 direct to your accomodation and arrive 45+ mins sooner. Lest we forget the new airport rail link being built to Pattaya 😁
I just book Kim's Pattaya taxi online with arrival time flight number, they confirm with email driver meets gate 3 1000 baht no tolls to any hotel in Pattaya, no queues
Great deal, I’ve been paying 1400 (also includes tolls). The bus is safer, imho.
Good video. Very useful. Any updates on current prices? I moderate a FB group and they ask occasionally.
Can't wait to see that area on Saturday, February 8th!!!!!
QQ: I assume it's better to take the bus to the Jomtien station if I am staying in Pratumnak, right?
Yes
Top tip! On arrival go upstairs to departure level and grab a taxi who is just dropping off,1000 bt works every time even for two people.
Thanks for watching.
Good video. Any updates on current price? I get asked now and then and haven't used in awhile. Thanks!
Still 143 baht to Jomtien. Add 25 baht if booking online.
@@RetiringToAsia Link to website please
When I went in march there was a 2hour wait for the next bus so got a taxi 🚖 for 1200 baht got there faster so it all depends on how long you have to wait for the bus after being on a plane ✈ if you have to wait to long for a bus 🚍 I know what I will be doing 😊
@johnerdelyi4208 you can book online, and reserve your seat up to a month ahead, to avoid those long wait times.
@@RetiringToAsia thanks I will keep that in mind I'm planning to go back in may off season hopefully less people and cheaper prices
if i want to go to beach road, which bus to take and where to get off. and what transport next?
watch my other bus video
Hello! How’s the weather in bangkok recently? I’m going there this weekend 😊
Rain daily
@@RetiringToAsia awww noo 😭. Rain daily all day?
not usually all day but very strong at times. it's rainy season in Thailand.
@@RetiringToAsia I see. Well, let’s hope no heavy rain this weekend😅😂☀️ Thank you for the info 👍
If I wanna go to central Pattaya which bus is recommended north or jomtien ?
Either will get you there.
@@RetiringToAsia Thanks mate was looking for that answer since I'm gonna pop off in Soi Buakhao my first nights :)
Do you have to still get in line if you book online to receive a ticket , or do you just print it out and give it to bus driver,.. thank you
You have to get a ticket.
The Bell bus is better. It drops at North Pattaya bus station and shared minivans take you onto your hotel
Yes B50 a time sharing a Baht bus! The most profitable bus service in Pattaya. Remember, you are sharing.
What's the fare from Bangkok?
Then pay a third more.
I took Bell one time. It was a fully loaded van and my hotel was the last stop, so an extra 40-45 minutes. The buses are much more comfortable, you have more seating room, and the ride is better IMO.
I've used Bell before and thought it was fine. I could book online and prepay before I arrive. Last time I used Roong Reuang and it was ok also. for me, one big difference is arriving at 5 am. Bell's first bus is 8:30 am. Roong Reuang as a 7 and 8 am bus.
I believe north pattaya bus stops at north pattaya, south pattaya and jomtien. Jomtien bus stops at central pattaya, south pattaya and jomtien. Please correct me if this information is wrong
Jomtien bus is the only bus that comes to Jomtien station. I don't ride North Station much, so I can't say for sure about the other 2 stops. Last time I rode to North Pattaya it was non-stop but that was a year ago.
so the stop in south pattaya is now off the table?
Nothing to do with stops on the way to Jomtien station, only about the sales counter. They still stop 3x.
Book online easy ok
yes it is
i get in at 5am what time first bus?
7 I think but check their website to be sure. You can book in advance and pick your seat that way too.
When is the last bus to North Pattaya
Check their website
always been the same for years !
What about don mueang?
I wasn't there.
They are the taxi drivers nightmare. B14O, or B1250. It's your choice.
Thanks for watching
50 Baht for luggage is ok
Definitely fair. They have always posted there was a fee but have been casual about collecting it.
North pattaya that to bus station
better food next floor down just before entering rail station just after getting off lift ... roast chicken and rice to die for
