Informative video i will arrive at bkk about 7 PM and in the video you mentioned the bus service closes at 9 PM i have booked the hotel in jomtien is it possible to clear the imagration until 8 PM so then i can get bus ticket
@Alikhan45Hrt Hi. Even if you clear immigration and collect your bags by 8.30 pm, you can catch the 9.00 PM bus. But my concern is of ticket availability. There is a good chance that tickets for the last bus will be sold out by the time you get there. It is better to book the 9.00 pm bus online, in advance. Google for AirportPattayaBus and you will find the official bus company website for online booking.
@memeagain4106 Hi. From Suvarnabhumi airport, there is always a wait. You don't get the next scheduled bus, but only the next available bus. I have waited there between 30 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes, after buying my ticket. Fortunately, there are chairs opposite the ticket counter where you can sit and wait. Or you can go to Level B to change money or to eat something. 15 minutes before departure time, the counter people call you and lead you to the bus.
@michaelbarnard1778 Hi. At the airport or in Pattaya, they accept only cash. But online booking can be done with a credit card. There is a 25 Baht service fee for online bookings. You can find the official booking site on Google by searching for AirportPattayaBus.
@JohnnyRingo555 Hi. Yes, that option is available at Suvarnabhumi from the same ticket counter. They offer you the Bell Travel service, whereby you get a drop to your hotel. The Bell Travel bus first goes to the North Pattaya Bus Terminal. From there, small vans are used to bring everyone to their hotels. Online booking is not necessary. Bell Travel tickets can be bought at the counter itself. I have used that service, and then stopped using it because a lot of time gets wasted at Pattaya, first at the bus station, and then they drop passengers one after the other while taking rounds in the city.
If you arrive in Pattaya in the late evening, look out the bus window to verify that there is local transportation waiting at the first 2 stops. If the area (a small parking lot) looks empty it is safer to continue to the final stop at Jomtien.
@jefferydaley755 For this service, the last bus leaves at 9.00 PM, and I am not aware of any other bus between Bangkok and Pattaya which operates after 9.
@smartpanda1992 That area is called South Pattaya. In the past, I have stayed in a few hotels in South Pattaya, but none of those turned out to be good. All I can suggest is, to search for hotels in South Pattaya on Agoda, MakeMyTrip, or Goibibo. Then read guest reviews on those booking sites to know more about the hotels. While reading guest reviews, remember to sort the reviews by "Recent Reviews". You will find a hotel you are comfortable with.
So far, I have posted two hotel review videos in Pattaya: Red Planet: th-cam.com/video/Ri8OlHanVmQ/w-d-xo.html and Blue Sky: th-cam.com/video/cihEW3a6goM/w-d-xo.html . Other than these two, I have stayed in Hotel Zing and that one is not good. If you are planning to stay near Walking Street, then book in South Pattaya, and if you want to stay near Terminal 21, then book in North Pattaya. For families, North Pattaya is a good area. If you elaborate your expectation from a hotel, I can suggest more.
@faisallone5866 Yes, you can. After reaching Ekkamai in Bangkok, take skytrain to Phaya Thai BTS Station and from there, transfer to the Airport Rail Link. This is my Airport Rail Link video: th-cam.com/video/AB3g7tU0AS8/w-d-xo.html
@nocturnalanimal79 It is a mix of BTS Skytrain and an airport bus. First, board a BTS Skytrain and go to Mo Chit BTS Station. From there, look for signs to the Don Mueang Airport Bus. You may even ask the ticket counter staff for directions. Once you get down from the BTS Station on the correct side of the road, there is a bus stop for the DMK airport bus. That is the cheapest way.
@nolimits9105 Hi. I will suggest booking the 9.00 AM bus. If you get there early, check at the counter if they have a ticket for an earlier bus. They will change your ticket for a fee of 50 Baht.
Hi. I think the best attraction for kids in Pattaya is Columbia Pictures Aquaverse. Another good one is Ripley's Believe It or Not! And natural attractions there are the beach and Coral Island.
@sauravbhattacharjee8394 This bus does not touch North Pattaya Bus Terminal either way. For the return trip from Pattaya to Bangkok, you have to go to Jomtien Suvarnabhumi Bus Station to board the bus. You can take a Bolt cab, which will cost under 100 Baht from your hotel to the Jomtien Bus Station.
@@desiyatri from north Pattaya bus terminal, do you know of a regular bus service or public transport to Jomtien Bus terminal? I don't want to spend much on it obviously.
@sauravbhattacharjee8394 There is no local bus there. Baht buses on a shared basis are cheap, but those have a fixed route and using that mode is inconvenient unless you know how to do it. Private Baht buses are too expensive. In Pattaya, Bolt cab is the cheapest. Even a motorbike taxi will cost more than Bolt.

@RRBhat511 Hi. I just checked on the bus company's website. The current fare is 143 Baht. Hopefully, it will continue next month. About the bus stop, your hotel is closer to South Pattaya, so you may get down at the second stop. Leave the North Pattaya stop, and when they stop next, get down.
@cashcowislive The current fare can be checked from the company website. Unfortunately, I cannot share any links in these comments. If I do that, the entire conversation gets deleted. BTW, I just checked. The current fare from BKK to Pattaya is 143 Baht.

Any online option for the bus tickets from Suvarnabhumi airport to Pattaya I will be arriving there on 23rd October 2024 I want to book the ticket online to avoid waiting in the queue and lastly what's the bus ticket prices for the children?

Is it safe to take bus from airport to pattaya with kids aged 4-12 please? Planning to stay in pattaya for a few daysonce we arrive in thailand then spend the remaining days in bangkok
@princessrae8287 The bus is safe to ride with children. This bus company also has a premium service from the same counter at BKK. That one is called Bell Travel, and that service includes a drop to your hotel in Pattaya. When you reach the bus counter at BKK, see if they have a Bell Travel bus available. If not, take the regular bus, and once you alight from the bus in Pattaya, take a taxi to your hotel.
@@desiyatri Thank you🙏 which area is suited for a family with younh children to stay in pattaya please? Near at Sanctuary of Truth, Mountain Budha, at Dino Garden (Nong Nooch)🙇♀️
@princessrae8287 Sanctuary of Truth and Big Buddha are in opposite directions, so you can't get a hotel close to both. And a trip to Nong Nooch can be booked along with hotel transfers. North Pattaya (Second Road), somewhere close to Terminal 21 Mall, is better for staying with kids. When going for sightseeing, book a tour that includes hotel transfers. You may try the Klook app. They have many sightseeing tours in Thailand.
Hi Michael. I agree, Bell Travel service is really nice. And available from the same counter at BKK. But their departures are not as frequent. If I am going to North Pattaya, and theirs is the next available bus, I will choose them anyday.
@kukuhprakusumasari5847 The shops which rent motorbikes will give you a bike after keeping your passport as security or a cash deposit. They will not ask you about your driving license. However, the Thai traffic police will stop you on the road and will demand to see your international driving license. If you don't have it, they make you pay a penalty of 1000 Baht. From what I leaned from another viewer, you have to go to a police station to pay the fine. Or they will keep your bike. Apparently, an international driving license is required for renting a motorbike in Thailand. Another problem with the bikes you rent in Thailand is, that these bikes are not insured. Not even for the third-party liability. If you damage the bike or hurt another person, you are 100% responsible, and without any limit. I guess, it is better not to think about renting a motorbike in Thailand.
@user-wq3yn7xt8x Yes, it is allowed. They keep large bags in the baggage hold before the bus starts its journey. Sometimes, if they find the bag too big or too heavy, they demand a fee of 20 Baht per bag which has to be paid at the time when you are handing over your bag to the staff for keeping in the baggage hold.

About child tickets, the price is the same, 143 Baht at present.
@@desiyatri Cheers much appreciated 🙏
@user-gs4jg5io2n You are welcome 😊
How much is the Cost in September 2024 for bus From Airport to Pattaya beach
@joelpeskin9057 Hi. I just checked on the company website. The current fare is 143 Baht.
BELL TRAVEL THE BEST
Hi Michael. I agree, Bell Travel service is really nice. And available from the same counter at BKK. But their departures are not as frequent. If I am going to North Pattaya, and theirs is the next available bus, I will choose them anyday.

Hi @aiyappaaiyappa9643 Many thanks for your appreciation.
do we need interational drving licence to rent a motorcycle in thai?
@@desiyatri Thank you so much sist 🙏

Is a 15 kg large suitcase allowed on the bus ? Thank you
@user-wq3yn7xt8x Yes, it is allowed. They keep large bags in the baggage hold before the bus starts its journey. Sometimes, if they find the bag too big or too heavy, they demand a fee of 20 Baht per bag which has to be paid at the time when you are handing over your bag to the staff for keeping in the baggage hold.
Thank you
@mylesmanalo528 I'm so glad it was helpful 😊
