Great review! I Loooooove my chuffed, I shared this review in a few skating groups where ppl have been asking about them. They drop new colours tomorrow, I’m crushing on the pumpkin orange 🎃🧡
So weird my laces do not match! One foot has plenty of lace to make a bow and then the other… not so much. I’m going to change my laces as well because of this. And I also found the burgundy dye is rubbing off onto the laces and I’ve only worn them twice. But the fit is really great! The padding is so comfy.
Thanks so much for the great review! I was looking to upgrade from my Chaya skates and had been thinking about investing in the Moxi Lolly, that’s until I found out about Chuffed! I would much prefer to support local and they seem to be great skates! Would love to know if you still skate on them?
Great review! Thanks for sharing :) I love mine too, I have the same colour :) I have had a similar experience to you, but I ended up swapping my stock cushions for the Suregrip yellow cushions that are softer so I don't have to loosen my trucks to have the same movement (I got mine mainly to learn dance skating). I'm impressed with how well they are holding up at the park for you! Mine have a few scuffs but are otherwise pretty nice still. Thanks for the tip about the black toe guard/strip thing, that's exactly what I was thinking about getting so I'm glad I held off. I'll have to get one of those suede brushes though! :)
Hi Bunnylop So glad the updated review was helpful. They are holding up so well at the park which makes me so happy because it is a more aggressive style of skating. My suede brush is a lifesaver - any shoe store that sells boots/a lot of suede products should have one. I love the suregrip guards and I reckon the lighter colours would be fine :)
Hey Samantha! I am in NZ and super keen too get these skates but wondering about the ankle support. I tend to have 'bendy' or weak ankles and it is important in all my shoes. Do you reckon they're sturdy in the ankle? or tightening them is good enough? I understand suede is bendy on it's own but is there any reinforcement they provide? Thanks so much!
Hey! I have super weak ankles/I am forever rolling my ankles and I find the support to be great. As you know they are suede but they are nice and thick and I find I lace them firmly but not super duper tight, and I still feel supported in the ankle. Lacing them tight feels good for me too. I hope that helps
hi, sorry for the question about the legs too) are they suitable for a narrow soup? I know that the moxie loli last is suitable for narrow legs, are they similar?)
Hi! I have the opposite of narrow legs so I can't give you total insight here. BUT they lace snug to my legs so I would assume due them being suede they will hug your legs as much as you need when you lace them up all the way. Hope that helps :)
Hey, sorry to be that person with a sizing question on TH-cam.... buuut I've also been recommended to get their size 6 and I'm doubting it! My foot measurement is 252mm and their size 6 says 245mm, so it seems waay off. Does your size 6 fit nicely, you said in your original video you are also an 8 in impalas which is the same as me. Thanks for any guidance you can offer, I'm in NZ hence the anxiety around getting it right first time! Appreciate the review!
Isn't it strange?! Their measurements are accurate in my experience so if your foot is 252mm it does seem the 6 would be too small? I am an 8 in impalas and their insoles for the size 8s are 25cm. (For reference my foot is 24.5 cm so my chuffeds are snug compared to my impala style skates but in a good way). Out of interest, do you wear vans/converse? What is your size in those? cause I am a six in those as well so that helped me know I got the right size.
@@samanthab4717 so strange! I’m an 8 in impalas and US men’s 6 in cons, so it does seem we’re similar. Maybe I’m measuring wrong or have super curly toes, lol. Are they amazing in comparison to your impalas? I’m hating on my impalas and crappy toe stop 😂
Oh man yeah those toe stops suck. They are absolutely incredible in comparison Maybe measure your feet (both of them) one more time to be sure? But being a 6 in cons I would have thought you’d be a six in chuffed too.
I feel like I have a semi-wide foot (not majorly but often when shoes don't fit me its due to width) and they fit well. I have heard others describe them as having a wider toe-box as well if that helps
@@samanthab4717 good to know! I have a pair of Crazy Evoke Skates and they fit like a glove. They are also much wider than the Moxi Lollies, which I had at one time considered for my second skate, but I may have to hear more from this brand!

Hey Samantha are you gonna post another update of ur skating life anytime soon

You can rotate your toe stop to get more use out of it too!

I’m wondering how they fit for wider feet.

How do they compare to Lollys I can’t decide between the two 😱
Oooh good question. I’ve never skated on Lollys so I can’t really give a proper comparison. Both brands would have their pros I’m sure
Hey @midnight oddities
What style of skating do you want to do?
How much are they
At the time of me writing this comment, they start at $385 AUD depending on what size :)
