Just realized that each turk has their instrument Reno: Electric Guitar and Drums Rude: Bass and Drums Elena: Piano Accompaniment Tseng: Sax, accompanied by Fast Jazz Drums
And I immediately understood why he doesn't usually get involved when he 1frame stomped me with a synchronized axe kick to the face-- because he's on a whole other level from his subordinates.
Between timeline shenanigans, literal magic and all the crazy stuff that happens in this game, I have to say that Tseng and Elena doing a warmup routine in sync, doing the Akuma stance, and proceeding to fight in perfect harmony to this theme was one of my top 5 hypest moments in FF7 Rebirth.
When I saw that we would fight Tseng I was like 🤯🤯🤯 HOLY SHIIIIT FINALLY A TSENG BOSS FIGHT AFTER 27 YEARS WTFFFF and then I proceeded to get even more flabbergasted at every single part of the fight
The fight that cemented Tseng as one of the coolest characters in FF7. The epitome of _"Just because I don't fight it doesn't mean I don't know how to."_
The soundtrack is da bomb! And seeing Tseng and Elena fighting together in sync... was blown away! Tseng is no pushover, glad to have finally seen him in action.
Eyyyy glad I wasn't the only one to notice the similarities! Honestly this isn't even the only track that reminds me Xenoblade's OST but it's definitely one of the more prominent ones to do so 😅
Technically you can fight him in the original Ever Crisis. Not the current mobile gacha game, but the old Ever Crisis for flip phones. He was a tutorial boss.
Its between this, and Roche's jazz band fight music! This game FED Tf out of us! Tseng finally stepping in to fight was NOT on my 2024 bingo card. And he did NOT disappoint! We SEE why he's the boss!
That would be fun! One of the things that I would think would be difficult as heck but so much fun would be fighting Tseng, Elena, Reno, Rude and Rufus all at either the same time or not.
@@the_oc_maniac8972 that should be the one. It was so epic in the original when you fight all 3 at the same time that it would be smart to top it with all 4. Or like the guy above me said, just add more Turks scenes/fights! :D
@@tsukuneboyYeah, but somehow they are on par in strength with SOLDIERs without any genetic tampering or Mako conditioning, which makes them rather impressive.

1:21 insane drumming, it reminds me of "Herbie Hancock - Actual Proof". Take inspiration from music legends, and naturally You will have an incredible song. But this was not enough for these Square Enix composers, they had to add epic choirs to the mix, straight from Heroic fantasy movies. This is one of the most groundbreaking song I have heard in a long time. Video game music is really where You can find the most inventive songs, when meanwhile, music as an art, struggles to reinvent itself
This duo theme is the better one imo ...shoulda went more hard on the piano on rude Elena's theme but this has that bombastic cowboy bebop feel ! Love it!
Each Turk has its own elemental weakness based on their hair: 1. Reno - Red Hair - Fire 2. Elena - Yellow Hair - Lightning 3. Rude - No Hair - Wind (LOOOL) Just Kidding. Tseng is weak against Ice.
Think about it though, it matches their personalities. Reno is Hot Headed, so Fire. Rude goes with the Flow, so Wind. Elena is Energetic, Thunder. Tseng is cool and collected, Ice.
Did I miss Yoko Kanno’s name in the credits for this banger? Straight out of Cowboy Bebop, just like some of Yuffie’s battle themes from Intergrade. GOTY
Rude is the only one who learned to block. The Elena/tseng combo is hard to hit and does good damage but you can basically end the fight instantly in phase 2 (on normal) with a synergy ability into LB into synergy ability, since their formation is too tight and gets splash damaged and the synergy skills have great (perfect?) tracking
I think they really bungled this fight design...literally got a flawless victory with Yuffie while barely trying, just pick an elemental weakness and target one down, dodge roll to the side whenever they're moving. I was so disappointed they never did anything more or interesting, love Tseng, really wanted something epic in a Turk fashion and the music was ok (another track that feels a little out of place but not as bad as Disney Jungle Adventure in Gongaga), but ultra owned by a Yuffie I'd previously neglected the whole game lol...
Just realized that each turk has their instrument
Reno: Electric Guitar and Drums
Rude: Bass and Drums
Elena: Piano Accompaniment
Tseng: Sax, accompanied by Fast Jazz Drums
It’s so cool you were able to pinpoint this!
Imagine the theme if all 4 fought us together
@@N..OCould totally happen in Part 3!
Yeah now that you mentioned it, it make the Turks feel like Yakuza than a task force.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed this. Especially Tseng too.
Not only was finally fighting Tseng a treat, the music was fantastic too.
Yeah, Tseng really is not just all talk. Plus this song really gives me strong Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3 vibes.
This is what I wanted to see in this battle: Tseng finally seeing how he fights for the first time in 27 years.
And I immediately understood why he doesn't usually get involved when he 1frame stomped me with a synchronized axe kick to the face-- because he's on a whole other level from his subordinates.
@@Hugslothwell, he’s their leader for a reason
He was beatin my ass too. Him and Rufus gave me the most trouble

All of us during the OG FF7: "No fight against Tseng? He must be a bureaucrat only then. What a pushover!"
Tseng in this game: "lol no"
Beats ass then pulls out the blickey and starts bustin caps.
After 27 years since his debut, we finally get to see Tseng get his hands dirty.
And, goddamn can he stomp a mfer out with little effort.
This song slapped so hard in the temple

WE MAKING IT TO THE PROMISED LAND WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🔥🔥
FACTS 🔥🔥🔥

WE'RE GOING TO THE GOLDEN COUNTRY WITH THIS ONE~!!!🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
HAHA xenoblade reference, love to see it!
Best song in the entire game. Ungodly levels of musicianship happening across bass guitar, drums and keys - and that’s without mentioning the sax!
We're returning to Torna with these two
Eyyyy glad I wasn't the only one to notice the similarities! Honestly this isn't even the only track that reminds me Xenoblade's OST but it's definitely one of the more prominent ones to do so 😅
Not just Torna, but also Future Connected and Redeemed as well
yup post-torna vibes in general@@Cyndillquil
Omg I wasn't the only one to notice !!! The piano at the beggining of the final phase, the choir and strings just after... Truly a masterpiece

I would've guessed this track was something from Xenoblade DLC, not FF7 Rebirth. SO good.
The first time we ever fight Tseng

Probably my favourite banger from the game
Tseng is so cool I didn't even realize this was his first-ever battle
This might be my favorite song in the game. It is SO groovy. I paused for like 5 minutes just to listen
I feel now like at some point in part 3, this song will be topped with a "fighting all 4 Turks" song
That would be fun! One of the things that I would think would be difficult as heck but so much fun would be fighting Tseng, Elena, Reno, Rude and Rufus all at either the same time or not.
The Omega Turk's Theme
The only way I see this happening is in the return to Midgar, in the train track fight.
@@the_oc_maniac8972Or they could just add more Turks scenes, which i am 100% in favour of

This theme is too dope, especially the keys at 4:49 🥶
The first time we fight tseng accompanied by a peak track? Yeah I’m thinking this is GOTY
This fight theme was a huge surprise. The Turks' glow up in Rebirth was real.
And the scariest part is that they're not even enhanced. No Hojo tampering, either. They're just insanely strong, well-trained normal people.

Man to be honest this is the best rendition of the Turks theme
Was waiting for someone to finally upload this just to hear the first phase
I love your videos, putting when they change phases is a big W
I love the shinra theme in this.
Dope song, definitely added it to my MP3 list. That boy Tseng ain't no punk b****, he can throw some hands and fight.

The music was amazing
sounds like something you'd hear from Xenoblade (specifically Torna the golden country)
You know what you're right
That what I was thinking, this really has Xenoblade Chronicles like vibes.
Part 2 sounds straight out of Future Redeemed ngl
Damn good stuff sir. Thanks for the upload.
This is how you remake a game. I had so much fun during this battle, it was challenging and the music made it tolerable
sounds like a KOF team theme
Fellow Leona enjoyer~!!!💙💙💙👍
Major Xenoblade vibes from this one. Fogbeast battle, specifically. Banger 🔥
This flows quite well into that one, surprisingly the same key too!
I see where Oda got the inspiration for CP9.
Thinking about it now FF7 and One piece have a lot in common
Not only Oda was clearly inspired by this game. Look at Kishimoto (Cloud/Minato, Vincent/Madara) or Kubo (the sizes of Zangetsu is like Buster sword).
One of the best moments in the entire game
I knew kingdom hearts before I was old enough to play Final Fantasy VII, so all I see is a Larxene and Saïx fight.
The sac in Phase 2 is on crack and I’m all for it

This whole fight had me on edge. The music in this game as competing with Harbinger of fate from Remake. HOLY!!

Best battle theme in the entire game.

That phase transition scene… am I the only one getting Yakuza flashbacks?
Black fancy suits, power auras surrounding them, same transition style as the game, I can see these two in a Yakuza game as Daidoji agents for sure.

Tseng about to Coltrane Giant Step over Avalanche
Still think that reno is the hardest turk to take down. I was expecting Tseng to give me some issues but he was easier than rude and reno
