Dear Yvonne, I know this is a bit left field but your hair is incredibly beautiful. Of course your creativity is great too but that hair is just perfect 😍
The rooster and hen peeking thru the window -- love it! Those chunky stools were built to last. Wish schools would put the shop and agriculture and home economics classes back in the curriculum.
So glad you are taking safety measures and demonstrating to us about the hazards of old chippy items and the lead hazards that may be on those items. They are beautiful pieces that can be saved with the extra safety steps.
That's the first time I have seen the six pain window seal window like that chicken and flag are gorgeous and my most favorite of the video of course everything you touch you make beautiful
From the smalls I liked the horses and the doll cookie canister.from the big pieces I love, love, love the 🦋 !! I love both stools. They turned out very well !!
I love the white "Antiques" sign. Before you fixed it up, it was blah, then of course you made it beautiful...especially with the scalloped edge. Looking forward to seeing where you put that butterfly! 🦋
I love how gentle you were with the flag, I guess I'm a sappy old American patriot but anything to do with our flag touches my heart. Love what you did with the old window. and those old school stools are pretty dang awesome too. That cheese crate, yep, love that too, I have a couple of those myself. And, last but not least, my husband says that old cylinder with the hose attached, he believes is an old fire extinguisher, but Idk. Great finds, as always. XX
Oh.. yes.. I can’t tell you how the flags are treated at the thrift store.. they don’t get it.🫤 so thank you for noticing. I definitely think it some kind of extinguisher🤗
Wow! I loved all of these projects!! Excellent job!! You really got some amazing things. The old cheese box and wooden butterfly were fantastic. You have definitely stepped up your game!! Cannot wait to see what you do next
Great finds & Loved everything especially the butterfly 🦋 ❤. You did a GREAT job on the hand made stools too. Loved the American flag framed in old window!
Really liked the flag window, it was certainly timely and always like what you do with those chickens. Way back when, when I was in high school girls wore hats and I loved them. I had one of those round cheese boxes. I covered it with fabric and kept my hats in it. That butterfly. Whrat a find.
Alice pocket watch could be part of a wind chime. Maybe other whimsical or storybook items. Edit. I commented before seeing butterfly. The caterpillar in Alice turned into butterfly!
I’d love to see your booth periodically to see how pieces come and go as we get to watch you create them. And because I’m a consultant to small businesses (Fractional CFO), I’m always wondering about how quickly your pieces sell and the profit margin. You put so much into them (time and materials). Again, my natural curiosity from being a CFO. Your work is so high quality and so beautiful. From one ginger to another, love your hair. I always wished mine had curl.
Feel free to follow me on Facebook.. that’s where I share booth pictures as I restock or bring in a new piece of furniture. Hope that helps. One ginger to another 😁
Great job love them all. Love your hair by the way. I have natural curly hair and no way is it as beautiful as yours. You are a very beautiful woman. Thanks for sharing these great projects. I really look forward to see all the great projects. You never disappoint my friend. Hugs
I’m in Minnesota and it was fun to see the cheese box with the date on it that had Minnesota stamped, too. Love how you fixed up the two stools. Love the large butterfly. Be sure to show us a picture when you find its home.
Oh.. I wanted to redo that box. But that stamp and date mattered more. Thank you Yes.. I’m doing an outdoor video where I’ll show the butterflies new home
I don’t know if this would make your job easier or not, but while watching a professional painter work on old windows he recommended that rather than sanding up a lot of lead dust you should take “wood glue” and seal the entire window with wood glue then you paint the window. He said the wood glue and paint would seal the lead paint in and you’re good to go.
Evening Yvonne. I think I remember that you made a sign with care instructions for furniture painted with white chalk paint. I think I need to do something similar. I'd love to copy you, if you don't mind. Love watching your videos, thank you so much for sharing your creativity with all of your followers!
Great hauls! I love the sign! The mirror window with the chickens is so cute! I want to make a mirror! I love the cheese wheel box! The graphics are so cool!
Love those coffee tables with the Rocycled paper. I think you could extend the use of those sheets (and spread the cost across several projects) if you split the top between the original wood, stained perhaps, and the decoupage paper for a variation in texture. This would contrast well with your black base, too. I save every last bit for smaller projects, so I cringed a little when I saw you wad up the pieces that were hanging over. : ) As always, though, I love your esthetic and vision that you see in each piece.
Excellent finds for both you & Alex!!! Loved the horses & kit cats Alex got!!! Way to go for him with the jeep and race car!!! I Loved the Antique sign, the tall blue “vase” and the benches-Live that paper!!! Quite honest, I Loved all your redos’!!! Happy weekend🌸✨🌸
Love the way your treating the flag! Worn flags are retired ( we do it yearly) by burning and then ashes are buried. There is an entire ceremony for it. I saw a beautiful wreath that some made with a flag and she cut it! Not the way to treat or display a flag. I made my own version with fabric from Joanne's
The stooooools!!!! Fabulous!!! We live in Three Rivers Michigan and have a little store in the downtown area. Thank you for your videos and info on repurposing. Been doing up cycling and repurposing for several years and it’s always nice to see and learn new techniques. ♥️👍🏽♥️
Yvonne ~ LOVE what you did to those handmade stools/benches….. oh my. If the person could see them now ! Your windows are always fabulous ! Do your hands get sticky when patting the paper down? Does it pull on the paper when you are smoothing it out? My hands do and I tear the paper a little. I guess practice more right ? 👍 I glad you left the Cheese Box alone. I have one, but it didn’t have any markings on it. So it is painted and Transferred with the sunflowers from IOD 🌻😁 That Butterfly ! I can’t believe the woman lowered the price ! LOL!!! What great finds for you and Alex ! It is exciting watching him get involved in the collecting and selling ! He must be moving out this weekend ? Bittersweet 🙁 Have a wonderful weekend ! Hugs !!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Actually Jayne.. it doesn’t take to much polycyclic to glue the paper down. I pat gently and nothing on my fingers. But when I tried the saran wrap I ended up hurting the paper more. So fingers it is. Yes.. the marking on the mat cheese box. I really wanted to put paper on it. But that date stopped me in my tracks. The house they are moving into is being renovated and the move in has been pushed out a couple weeks. 😁
Yvonne as usual you are an inspiration. Tha careful handling of the flag, your creations and your sense of humor are awesome. I am going to try one of those benches since I can't keep driving 😫 out there for purchases lol but I think it's going to be so much fun.
Really nice projects. I especially enjoyed watching you paint and decoupage the stools. Like you, I have been decoupaging over unpainted wood. I love the rustic look it gives to the design. Your stools were gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this with us, Yvonne.
My husband and I got a couple of the cow tags and chains at our local flea market. We used them on a light fixture we made with a wagon tree. Very repurposed.
Hey! Can I come and go with you on these hauls. I'll stay in my car and I'll have my own food! LOL Again I love the music. You do such nice work. You take care of very little thing and finish it the right way with sealing it :)) I like the way you go step by step and explain what and why you use what you do with every project. Take care of your hair woman. Take care, God Bless. Rebekah. OHIO
I thought you could get away with cutting the chickens because when they make window pane quilts, they just cut it up like that and sew the 'panes' in between. You do such beautiful work I don't feel qualified to tell you things. Those benches turned out awesome! The lady you bought them from or her brothers might be interested in seeing a pic of how they turned out. Another awesome video! 🥰
Oh gosh I stayed till the end I thought you were done LOL and you came out with the stools and I just knew you were going to tear your tissue paper and they turned out gorgeous
What a great haul!! You found some cool stuff. Alex did very well n he made some money too. I really liked the music instrument’s. No one favorites, as I loved everything you did with each piece. The stools, oh wow! Loving that idea using the tissue paper. You did another video using that n I got hooked. I’m trying to wait patiently when mine comes in the mail. I think I’m going to order some more today LOL. Now that window with the flag is awesome. I’m so glad you made a video of knowing how to do it so nicely n correctly. I hang my flag 365 days a week n at night it has a light shining on it. Since my husband served in the army during the Vietnam war we proudly let it blow. I continue to do this now. I lost my husband in December from dementia. I apologize for getting carried away about the flag. It’s kinda sentimental to me. I just love watching your videos. You definitely an inspiration to me. So many creative ideas that you do. It blows me away. You make it look so easy but I’m sure it was trial n error at being so precise. I also like to mention you have a great personality n I get tickled when you get tickled n giggle. Your doing an amazing job. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
Oh.. honey.. thank you for sharing with me. I do care and it means a lot to tell someone. My mother n law is suffering from dementia. And as a hairdresser of 31 years. I have plenty of story. So my heart goes out to you . On another note.. every time I use that paper.. I’m like oh.. I think I should go look for some more 😁
Those peeking chickens are absolutely adorable!! Can't help but chuckle when I see them! 🤣
Thank you
Dear Yvonne, I know this is a bit left field but your hair is incredibly beautiful. Of course your creativity is great too but that hair is just perfect 😍
Aww.. thank you. That’s so kind of you💝
This world is a better place because you save so many things and always do an amazing job
Aww.. you are so kind. Thank you
The rooster and hen peeking thru the window -- love it! Those chunky stools were built to last. Wish schools would put the shop and agriculture and home economics classes back in the curriculum.
Amen to that..
Thank you for honoring our flag! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you for watching
So glad you are taking safety measures and demonstrating to us about the hazards of old chippy items and the lead hazards that may be on those items. They are beautiful pieces that can be saved with the extra safety steps.

We got some old cow tags and chains a few years ago at our flea market. We used them on lamps we made from old wagon trees.
Cool idea

Thank you.. I’m very happy with it💝
Those spoon were part of a set of five celebrating the Dionne quintuplets. They were the first quintuplets to survive infancy.
Love the stools and the windows, before and after makeovers. What fun to be able to go to yard sales and estate sales with your son.
Thank you
I need to buy flat matte paint in black and white in bulk! 😂 That’s about the only colors I use. 😁
I feel like I do.. good call🖤🤍
All your projects turned out fantastic, but I LOVE how the stools turned out!
Thank you
My favorite is the flag in the window. I just love it!!
Thank you
Those metal boxes looked like ones that my father used to carry smaller bread orders from his truck to the store in the 60's.
Thank you for sharing that
From the smalls I liked the horses and the doll cookie canister.from the big pieces I love, love, love the 🦋 !!
I love both stools. They turned out very well !!

I’d admire how much work you put into each piece that you’re working on. It really shows in the finished pieces. Great work!

FYI - those six ashtrays at 2:38 are worth some $$$. I am a collector of vintage ashtrays. Just the black cat open mouth one is selling for $50!
Oh.. good to know

Show us where you put the butterfly. Loved seeing Alex.
Yes.. I have an outdoor video coming up😉
Cut the tack and glue the tops on as nail heads like on leather.
🫤not sure 🤗
I thought you could get away with cutting the chickens because when they make window pane quilts, they just cut it up like that and sew the 'panes' in between. You do such beautiful work I don't feel qualified to tell you things. Those benches turned out awesome! The lady you bought them from or her brothers might be interested in seeing a pic of how they turned out. Another awesome video! 🥰
Oh.. but I’m always learning myself ☺️thank you

I think I should go look for some more 😁
I love these projects!
