Hi Jo, thanks for the chat vlog, soooo love to see you and your mum time and the love and respect you have for your parents and son. If you don’t mine me saying, making new friends seems to get harder as we age, I’ve invested my time into my husband, three sons and now my aging father so finding a girlfriend to shop or have coffee with etc is hard. I’ve lived on the Gold Coast all my life and I think it’s one of the hardest places to make a friendship. Can’t wait for your book to be published. Best wishes 😊❤

Thank you so so much for sharing some of your highschool experiences. I actually had the same experience as you. I am part Italian but also have other ethnicities in my family and I looked so very different to all of the other children in my schools my whole academic life. I was bullied for the way looked from the first day of Kindergarten and it never stopped all the way through to year 12. Every school I attended, no one looked like me, so I was bullied mercilessly. I stayed in school, even though I hated it, because my parents forced me to, but I had so much to work through as an adult to help with my mental health due to all of the bullying. Unfortunately I then pursued a career in the music industry and was once again made to feel ashamed by music executives and stylists for the way I looked. I had to diet, get rid of my eyebrows, cut and dye my hair constantly to look "prettier". It was so demeaning and I was lucky in the way that I became a published song writer for a big music artist but eventually in 2016, I had enough. Now at 47 I love the way I look and refuse to change anything about how I look to be accepted by anyone. I'm studying to become a therapist and In a way I am happy that these things happened to me in my past as I think it might help clients in the future when I am working as a counsellor. I just love your videos and once again I am enjoying my Saturday morning coffee while watching your beautiful and inspiring video. Big big hugs beautiful girlie xx

I had to diet, get rid of my eyebrows, cut and dye my hair constantly to look "prettier". It was so demeaning and I was lucky in the way that I became a published song writer for a big music artist but eventually in 2016, I had enough. Now at 47 I love the way I look and refuse to change anything about how I look to be accepted by anyone. I'm studying to become a therapist and In a way I am happy that these things happened to me in my past as I think it might help clients in the future when I am working as a counsellor. I just love your videos and once again I am enjoying my Saturday morning coffee while watching your beautiful and inspiring video. Big big hugs beautiful girlie xx
