Can’t help but think I’ve seen you before. Then at plantation grille heard the kali oriksi and obviously your Greek. Are you in Perth? Even your voice is familiar. FYI all the restaurants you visited are my all time favourites have gone time and time again. Just got back from Bali myself on another food expedition 😂😂😂😂😂

@@THEJODEDESAESTHETIC most definitely and how I wish I had more with my mom and dad Love watching you interact with you son and parents my dad was born in italy and my parents met there they use to love to cook and laugh and I miss them being here so yes cherish each moment because time goes by way too fast. You blink and your turning 60 in a few weeks, your kids are grown and you have 6.5 grandchildren lol .

Is bali still as beautiful as it used to be or did it change a lot? How is the traffic and construction?
No beach trip. And the beach in Seminyak isn't great. Bali has changed, but in a lot of ways it's still the same. Crazy traffic. Some construction. Bali is as beautiful as ever 🌴

Ok, another comment from me 😂😂😂! Question, actually! Do you gain weight when you vacation in Bali?
Love this question!!! I don't gain weight when I'm on vacation because I walk EVERYWHERE! I average about 15,000 - 20, 000 steps a day. And if I haven't gotten enough steps in for whatever reason, I'll go for a wander on my own to get the steps in. I have always been this way. I simply love walking, especially when I'm in a foreign land. It's the best way to really sightsee and discover the place you're in. I also love swimming, so that's extra exercise I get in without any extra effort. I'm not the kind of traveller who packs my suitcase with food from home either. Tea, coffee, snacks whatever it may be. My home-life routine is left at home. I'm also not the kind of traveller who would ever step inside the gym of the hotel. I indulge but don't over eat. I also don't drink alcohol. I never have. I don't care for the taste and it also is a trigger for my migraines. And those cocktails by the pool are full of sugar and calories! I'm a diet coke/pepsi max girl all the way. I do love a granita though. I can never understand my fellow travellers who pack their protein powder, gym gear and other home routine things. For me, that takes the joy out of travelling. Isn't a holiday supposed to be an escape from one's every day life? I truly immerse myself in my surroundings and let go of any home routines and restrictions. And funnily enough, my body thanks me for it. I've come to the conclusion that when I'm travelling, something shifts inside and my physical body suddenly aligns with my mental and spiritual happiest state of being.
