Herman is probably my favorite Simpsons villain. He's different from the others because he's not wacky or funny, instead having a more darker and serious tone. Too bad he doesn't really have much appearances, but I suppose it adds more to his mysterious character.

The Czech (my) version of dubbing does Herman even more justice. He uses German phrases and his answer to Bart´s question about losing his arm he says: Young boy never do "Sieg Heil" from a bus window... Makes him a bit of a Nazi guy but it fits the character very well I would say :)
The number one is actualy more fun in Czech. There Is this line : pamatuj, že se z autobusu nikdy nehailuje. That means : remember not to ever heil from bus.

Les Miserables is a musical regarding the events of a French uprising. One of the protagonists used to be a prisoner, with the number 24601. Having played in the band for a production of it, those numbers are now seared into my memory.

I always love how Herman’s voice is almost identical to Flanders. I could see why Harry stopped doing him. The voices were too similar.
