For example, there are 3 people, persons A, B, and C. Person A sees person B throwing a rock through a window and breaking it, and person C throw an unused tissue at a window. Person A reacts noticeably angrier to person.C for the tissue (and while knowing the tissue is unused) than how he reacts to person B for the brick, just because he personally dislikes person C more than person B.
