Yeah they should have included the same disc edition where you get the base game and DLC. Or at least more loot considering the price compared to the OG CE.

In Europe its 250 euro which is extremely overpriced imo. You essentially are getting a statue, an artbook and the box. Game and soundtrack are digital, the steelcase is not even included.
Bandai knew that the collector's edition will sell like hotcakes regardless so they barely put the effort and pricegouged everyone.
For reference, the original premium collector edition of the base game was around 250 euro too and that included Malenia's helmet. Here, Mesmer's helmet is separate, for the humble price of only 180 euro!
I am huge fan of the game but I will consider carefully whether I should buy any more collector editions from them in the future.

I feel the same way! Even normal shops are asking scalper prices! 280 euros 😅 luckily they don't sell all that well here! And every store is stuck with their stock! Again.. normal gaming stores just add 30 to the price!! While it's available everywhere! I completely agree with you! I think bandai will never get my money again for a collector edition if this is the effort they put in to it. To be honest.. I find it disgraceful! Trying to sell a collector's edition with barley anything and for a ridiculous price to your fans.

Bandai is another square-enix greedy ass company sell there collector edition with very lil effort & over price the collector edition you're selling us just a statue we need more then just a statue & digital code for the ridiculous amount of money they ask for the collector nowadays these companies seem to put no effort into it but when it over price us on literally every collector that comes out almost every statue that comes out now it's $200 and up with no steelcase, artbook, game, sound track, sticker, keychain, or any other Goody's what usually a collector edition has now it a statue & a digital code for 400 or 500 the only ppl I can see buying this are people that don't have responsibilities to just throw money away with that much money I can pay my bills then just having a statue sitting in my room for that price I can buy two or three collectors that will be much worth it I'm glad I canceled that collector edition not worth my money these companies think we're shitty money out of our asses pay them more for less.

at 7:26, that cardboard slip is actually to hold the art book that was supposed to be in the box, but we will get at a later date instead due to production issues c:
I also plan on hunting down the steelbook to complete this set.

Cool statue but no base game included, no steelbook, soundtrack being digital only, artbook arriving at a later date etc makes this release a total disaster in my opinion. The price is absolutely absurd for what you get.

Yea I don't care how beautiful the artwork is, paying 230 quid minimum should be the actual game (does that even need to be said?) , in a new steelbook, maps etc.cant stand DLC codes, one time use and binned, may aswell just download it online. I bought 2 copies with steam codes and the useless badges etc when it came out, one to keep and one to rip open and bin.
