Americans can’t “get a job, earn a living, and move into a home” just like that either. Our own citizens can’t afford the American dream anymore and we’re supposed to feel bad they aren’t getting it for free?
They are supposed to be seeking Asylum. You’d think they’d be grateful! Just goes to show they aren’t true asylum seekers but grifters. They also somehow have money for outside food.
I think many of the illegal aliens/migrants do have resources but they tell authorities that they are broke so they will get everything for free. They seem to think that the American Dream is going to be given to them for free.

With waiting lists. I was suprised to hear a homeless guy signing up for a place in a shelter, but he remains on the street while he waits. Meanwhile, refugees have government paid for housing and a stipend.

How can she work without child care? Child care is probably more than what a non English speaking person can earn. Housing is not affordable. How can this possibly work out?
@@majorchutzpah7265 My son stayed in Germany after getting out of the army. In order to get a permanent job in Germany he had to complete a German Language study program. Germans at least want people coming to their country to be able to effectively communicate with their citizens.
The other day I went to the deli at Walmart to get 1/4 lb of turkey. The associate says " no speak English. I had to point to the meat I wanted. She did not know what 1/4 lb was and I ended with over 1lb of meat.
Another time at Walmart I needed assistance and the associate was unable to help me because they did not speak English. Walmart is a major retailer in an English speaking country and I cannot get help!! WTF

Biden has basically opened the door for them. He stopped building the wall, stopped the remain in Mexico program, started an app, so they can just apply on their phone and walk in the door when they get here, he flew in over 200,000 from Venezuela and they just ask them what city they want to go to and flew them there. Why shouldn't they just expect they can get it all. They need to be informed of deportation if they do not qualify for asylum. Economic circumstances are not acceptable as a reason for asylum. It's a known fact that 90% typically don't qualify for asylum, so why aren't they being held until that's decided and then deported back instead of released all over the country? This is a plan by the current administration to imbed them into our country and it's going to cost us money, security, quality of our schools and hospitals and run down our communities worse than they are due to homelessness and drugs. The ones that can't or don't work will have to resort to crime to eat.

A lot of the Mexican people have said the Venezuela migrants are offered jobs when they’re in Mexico waiting to cross but they’re very lazy or just turn down the work.
They are all over bus stations in Mexico, trashing the place, kids roaming everywhere. All of them were given work permits in Mexico but they rather receive handouts, the Catholic church provides three square meals and they just hang out waiting for the next bus to the border.

Work is work. It does not mean you are an automatic citizen. I am not against someone applying for and getting a green card to work, I am against someone crossing the border illegally and expect to get preferential treatment and automatic citizenship. That is a hard slap in the face for those who have followed the rules and done everything honestly…
Another thing: The government admits the immigration system is badly broken. Yet they do nothing for literally decades but complain. Either they don’t care enough to actually do something, or much more likely, it’s deliberate….
They are applying for work permits. This isn't a green card,which would make them a legal alien resident.
Why not ask these asylum seekers how they qualify for asylum? Escaping poverty does not qualify them and that's why most of them are here. Ask what are their plans when their court date comes up, because if they don't qualify they'll get deported. Or that's what's supposed to happen!

The next question would be do you know what the median wage is for the job you intend to get with the skill set you bring to an employer?

If conditions are that bad, go back home. I honestly feel for these people but what exactly did they think was going to happen? Set them up in luxury apartments with an end less supply of money? Meanwhile I have to wait until the last paycheck in November to buy oil for heat because I have to pay car taxes and registration this month, my rent went up and heat is just at the bottom of the list. I haven’t taken a vacation is 8 years! I drive an old car and my kids don’t do extracurricular activities. We buy everything used, I use coupons and meal plan. It’s not exhausting, but I only complain when I hear things like this. Did they really expect to walk in and get everything for free?

I think the reason that these illegal aliens are coming in such record numbers is because they see President Biden as weak and incompetent and possibly with DEMENTIA. They realize that Trump will most likely be re elected into office again. So they are coming while they have the best chance of entering the United States illegally. However, one TRUMP IS BACK IN OFFICE ABOUT 97% of them will be deported with little or no chance of re entering legally.

Can someone tell me why there is a "process" for illegal aliens to obtain work permits? My brother in law has waited over 10 years to enter this country legally. Where is the allowance for him? He even has a sponsor ... me! he also has an education and could find a real job easily. I guess he is not the type of person our politicians are willing to welcome here.

Odds are more Mexicans speak English as opposed to people from Venezuela hence more likely to be hired. The math of illegals crossing the border is smothering the odds many will not be able to get job when they are seeking work in specific and narrowed fields. She was told why food cannot be kept in rooms without refrigeration, yet she poses her remarks as if they are being denied food. According to the woman, they do not want to hire Venezuela's only Mexicans. The reason for this is because Venezuelans have developed an image of entitlement, making excessive demands for compensation at work. Legal or not, Mexicans have been paying taxes into the system without being granted the ability to obtain a work visa. However, Mexicans do not come here looking for freebies.
