I use rubber topy so i expect never to need a full resole but even at that one needs to be careful who to entrust topy fitting to.

This is the Loake by design which is the overseas version not the made in England 1880.

Yes that's right, and in my opinion they are far better value for money than the 1880s that have the uppers all made in india and have cardboard type heel stacks. amp.theguardian.com/world/2002/jun/26/globalisation.features11
