I LOVE the way you show the end result during the color so I can compare what you are doing with the placement vs the end result. I've never seen that done but I appreciate it so much.
Thank you for explaining the like and subscribe and what that does for you too. So important.

I actually loved the length of this video! Sometimes it’s hard to take the time to watch ones that are closer to an hour. Her hair looks gorgeous! I really enjoy doing the teasylight technique as opposed to open air balayage. I still haven’t been doing shadow roots .... I just global tone. I’m not sure why I’m so scared of shadow rooting

I do have a question as well! Do you always work off of the clients parting when doing a balayage? I’ve heard different things from different stylists. They say work off the middle for symmetry “just in case the switch the parting. What are your thoughts about that?

I know I’m Uber late to reply to this. 😅
    Loved this! ❤️
I wanna say I enjoy this length for a tutorial. You gave just the right amount of explanation for why you do what you do for the color- a halo placement foilayage, foil behind the ears, toning, etc.👍
I personally would have enjoyed seeing the haircut part not as sped through; it was too fast for me to see how you cut the hair; also the camera cut you off at the top so I couldn’t see you cut the top part as much. 👀
However, I also understand that more stylists are probably here for the color, not the haircut.
So no complaints from me, just wanted to give some positive feedback from a fellow ADHD stylist. 👋
I loved this tutorial and her hair is STUNNING!👌 Fantastic job, Dawn!
I really can’t get enough of your tutorials.

Loved this, never considered doing the whole hairline at once like a true ring sectioning + working inward. I try to watch one balayage video per day and this one was very helpful. I use shades eq to tone + also hadn’t considered how quickly the front hairline grabs the toner; I have a balayage first thing tomorrow can’t wait to try these new tricks. Thanks Dawn!

Hi Dawn! I've been watching a ton of balayage videos, and your sectioning makes a ton of sense to me! It is genius the way you do a halo all along the hairline, including over the ear, then work at an angle on the sides, pivoting towards the part, and angle both sides in the back with more depth on the interior. Thank you for making it easy to remember. I'm also a back bending foil stylist because if the foil slips, or isn't quite close enough, it can be easily adjusted with the back fold.

What’s the charge for all this ?

    • @dawnbradley
      @dawnbradley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

My prices are based off a few things, cost of product, all my espenses and over head, education, and experiece. Since all those things vary so much based off geography, ecomony and levels of experience I don't share the cost, because the cost is so different than the take home. Does that make sense? I do suggest breaking down your prices to know exactly how much money your appointments cost you before you take anything home so that you can price in a way that in profitable for you. ( I do have education around this, you can check it out at www.dawnbradley.com/academy )

I'm a first time viewer (I think) and just subbed, that was incredibly genuine for you to say about the ads... I never thought of them that way, sometimes I've even almost been through with all ads, and then I'll hit the "skip ads". So thank you for giving me that knowledge! I know I'm late on this video, but I sure do hope that you are close to getting or have already gotten a new camera! Also, girrl I could watch you foiling for hours! Very informative about placement, especially in the crown area and above the ears.. Do you ever do those areas with a board? The board is absolutely helpful for me, but so tricky to get used to.

Love this technique of highlighting to save time. It's really helped me book more guests and make more money. Thank you so much for taking the time to film and post this great video.

Really liked this! Also on both sides did you just slice leave some hair out and then tease the slice? Then once cloaer to the top did you start weaving and teasing on the sides at the top

I love how you emphasize on the products you are using. Some TH-camr don’t say what they are using.
