I don’t smoke or drink alcoholic drinks and had no family history of cancer but was diagnosed with Lung cancer stage 4..
Fyi, there was no symptoms but was feeling very lethargic and some cough.., after 2 weeks I was feeling breathless just by taking about 20 steps..
Feeling sometime is not right….I went to the A&E and was diagnosed with Stage 4 LC…and was told that had only 6 months to live…and that was 2 years ago..
Thanks to the Oncoligist at the NTFGH for giving me the Gen3 oral tablets & Thank God…currently leading a normal but with regimented monitoring …

This topic is very close to my heart. My mum passed away to lung cancer in Nov 2022. She was not a smoker and it simply started out as pain in her lower back. Thinking it was just a normal back pain, she got it checked by the doctor who then revealed the harsh news that it was stage 4 lung cancer. The prognosis given was only 3 months, but my mum persevered and lasted for a year going through chemotherapy and medication. RIP Mum

my mom has endless problems with her body. Her life hasnt been happy since she married my dad out of blind marriage (14 yrs age gap) and also not doing anything to make it better. Because of her extremely bad mental health it has consumed her physical health too. Being in a good and stable mental state is so important in keeping the body healthy. I come to this conclusion because no one in her immediate family has these problems but her. she doesnt take the responsibility to help and change herself (doctors tell her to take medication and do physiotherapy but ignores it). When we try to help her she shuts down and doesnt listen even more.
problems she has had so far:
    1. cervical cancer (treated) + huge cysts (untreated)
    2. osteoporosis affecting her joins and spine
    3. stomach ulcers and deformation (which causes constant burping)
    4. overweight, high cholestrol
    5. tailbone (did surgery to put nails in to support)
    6. severe ankle bone misalignment
    7. knee problems
    8. breasts lumps (apparently she did surgery for it but not sure if she is only saying that to cover her breast implants surgery)
    9. has a phase of bal palsy on one side of her face
    10. apparently has lungs and heart problems which she went to check but no official statement is given
not only that she has done many beauty cosmetic procedures that has made her condition worse (like using mercury based "foundation")
probably has more but i cant keep track no more
She blamed all these problems on childbirth and marrying the wrong guy. Yes, she is probably right in some aspect but it hurts to think that your own mother's decision and action 24 years ago comes back biting you back saying you are the cause of her body breaking down. Seeing my broken family dynamic i have long given up on the idea of having my own family. im only 23.
