Being a shy person, during my first week of college I used the secret glance technique many times.
My crush sent me a message saying I was making her uncomfortable and immediately blocked me. Since we were in the same class, I tried to apologize the next day before class started...she got up, said "ok, don't talk to me" and left.
As broken as that left me (don't worry, it was a few years ago, I am much better now) I hope this video somehow reaches her.

As a shy person I really find it hard to express my feelings to other ppl cuz I'm afraid of being judged. Like wen I wanna tell my feelings to her I'd be like "what if she thinks I'm a creep after this" or "no.. I'm too ugly for her". But at least I actually talked to her a few times cuz we both loved drawing. Its small but for someone like me I think its good progress

How’s it been
I can remember this drawing class experience way back in 2020. In zoom meeting, every classmate has to type a positive about the classmate's drawings on the discussion. At least people can't judge you if you give positive feedback about the artwork. So in art class such as drawing, instead of expressing feelings to her, express it on artwork instead. Substitute it. Instead of saying how beautiful she is, say how good her drawing is. So when you say something positive about your classmate's artwork, everybody sees it in the discussion posts and none of them have proof about hitting on her.
I've made so much progress that i got to even know her boryfriend....

As a shy, antisocial introvert who is also a hopeless romantic, I can vouch for these as pretty true.. Though, sometimes your friends will invite your crush to hang out with you all, without you asking or even when you beg them not to..

@@dragonflaw Nothing is guaranteed, except for two things that aren't exactly positive.. Regardless of that, I create to cope and keep surviving, but even if I make my own animated show there's not going to be an audience to view and enjoy it... That's my aspersion, but I desperately need to catch up with literally everyone else that had access to things I've never had, but now it's far too late to even have a glimmer of hope for my life's work becoming a wildest dream career...
Yet, despite everything I just said, I refuse to give up on it.. I have nothing to show for it yet, but when I finally do make episode 1 and post it; nobody will notice, nobody will care and I'll upload episode after episode until I either die or the show reaches it's open conclusion of the final episode after x numbers of story arks and seasons... I doubt I'll ever be as big as the creators of Rick and Morty or even Hazbin Hotel, but it'll be the most brutal, dramatic, 2D animated horror comedy from America...
..Why am I spilling my guts out here..? I don't even know you... I share too much.. I'm sorry...

I cannot say that in this day and age being recognized is not important, especially on the internet, but would making this show yourself, and putting the hard work on it make you feel good? Would make you feel proud of what you've created? If yes to both, and you are able of doing it, go ahead, this life is way too short for us to ponder about choices that can make us feel better in any way. It may not reach a lot of people, or maybe it will, who knows at this point, right?

Honestly, I tried to do the same but I ended up sitting around for a year not doing anything or making a move while it was painfully obvious to everybody that we both had a thing for each other. You just cannot hide that 100% and people pick that up pretty fast. Might as well go for it. Liking someone is nothing to be ashamed about anyways.

Yeah, I've fallen flat on my behind many times when I've had a crush on someone whenever they showed up unexpectedly. Who am I kidding, I've done all of these things myself. 😅 I'm also naturally clumsy, so I trip a lot anyway. I also have a natural stuttering problem, but it's 10 times worse when I'm nervous.

This was me a couple years back with a coworker I fell for. I had an extreme sense of anxiety when I felt like telling her something, but I physically couldn't vocalize it. And one day, I just said it to her, I turned my chair away and she asked"are you okey?" I turned back around, and said "I like you.." couldn't go into too much conversation because we were the front. But she was more caring to me than I'd expect, I'll always appreciate that.

If I notice they're hyperaware of their surroundings, I'd rarely glance. I'll be extra careful stealing glances not even at side profile. I'd look when they've turned their backs. If I see they're quite oblivious to their surroundings, I stare a lot.
I remember when I had crushes when I was a kid but I was too shy to do anything about it. Others knew I had a crush on a boy I liked but it was ended up badly for me because they ended not liking me too much when they found out. I never really learned how to approach guys and didn’t have many opportunities to crush on anyone as I got older because no one really caught my attention or gave me butterflies

I know I was shy till I was 17. I felt m attacked when someone asked me a question. My father didn't know what he could expect from me; I really didn't say anything. Till I heard a friend of him said "he (I) has to speak". I heard it and once I wanted to speak. The first 3 months were chaos. But after that period I could speak/telling what I wanted. During my life I learnt that "saying what you want" is very, very important....because NOBODY can read the thaughts in your mind. Nobody. When I was 30, I learnt also to say "no". The second most important thing in your life. I learned to set bounderies with my "no". I learned that if I don't say "no", no one will: nobody knows when you want to say "no", except you, because no one can read your mind. Your mind is the only place where you can be you. Dear "shy-ers", I wish you to can speak. To tell what you want and to say "no". (Now I'm a father of three sons. We are happily together. For psychologists: I'm an INFJ-empath).

Wow!!! You folks must've worked very quick and hard to bring this to us. I'd be interested to see what kind of hardware Psych2Go is working with.
