My shyness never stops decreasing, thanks to the experience I get every time I find the courage to do a first-step (it is often very difficult, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes). To all the shy people, don't despair, and be courageous. Put yourself voluntarily in uncomfortable situations to get experience. And do it progressively: start with a low difficulty level, and increase the level a little bit when you feel you get more comfortable. But don't forget becoming less shy is a long process, so be patient
