The best thing about the WRX is the FA20, I can drive it hard, track it and I’m never really worried or nervous about it, the EJ on the other hand, I would constantly be anxious and listening for noises.
You can make more power with just ignition and timing adjustments alone without having to go past 20 psi. The rods will bend if boost is over 25psi. If subaru didn't use offset rods for the FA platform then the engine would be good to push up to 30 psi.
My friend have a WRX almost ready to hit the dyno. His is still stock with Turbosmart bov, AEM cold air intake, 3 inch downpire with 3 inch muffler delete (stock 2,5 inch mid-pipe). He need to change his spark plug, cooler and of course his turbo and he's gonna be ready for a little tune i will guess. I like the FA-20 sound, more agressive tone than the EJ-25

Hard to say because the numbers could be corrected numbers which can show whatever. Always a secret what the tuners is giving you. Uncorrected is the numbers you want and that count.

Yea they’re loving these and so are the consumers! It’s a great turbo! So since I’m on stock block my torque is low but the boost stays on throughout the whole power band! With them headers you’ll definitely feel more of a pull than your stock one!

What fuel system upgrades did you do? I have FBO besides fuel-related mods and turbo. I'm at 305whp.
Forgot to mention I'm running the stock turbo & stock fuel system.
Hey there, all it was a e60 blend, nothing major. Never upgraded the fuel pump or E85 sensor.

All about the torque with these blocks that'll make them last longer with high hp.
