      My kitchens hot tap was 42 degrees after running the tap for 90 seconds and using 3 litres of water, did the adjustment and now it's 48 degrees, a lot better...thanks

    Thanks, maxxed out my 50 deg compliant model to give a bit more heat at the tap. All books, buttons, steps exactly as shown. Much better! Cheers

    This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

    On the #5 setting, mine only goes to "b". It toggles between a & b only. Why is that?

    We have a b26 that was factory set to 50deg.
    Did this change also set kitchen master panel and still showing maximum temp 50deg
    We had an old rinnai infinity 20 which previously let our temp go up to 55deg

    • @jryan_28
      @jryan_28 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rgoring81 no stuck at 50 degrees as the highest but after replacing hot water unit we found it to “feel” hotter so don’t need higher than 50

    Hi there
    How do you lower the temperature setting at the unit? We have not one of the external controllers fitted. Would appreciate your comment.

  • @AndrewZanthiusCasey
    @AndrewZanthiusCasey ปีที่แล้ว

    Would this be the same process for the infinity 20?

      Should be the same process. The manual will be in the fron cover that you can confirm with.

    Great video. I have a Rinnai B26 Compliant to 50 degrees. When initially installed, what heat is the standard install heat i.e. 40 degrees?

    • @denisovanhybrid9610
      @denisovanhybrid9610 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The standard heat is 50 degrees. The maximum heat is 54 or 55 degrees F setting

    Can this also be done on a Dux 26L continuous gas 50 degree hot water system?

  • @seroweassociatesllc
    @seroweassociatesllc 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi, mine one is using a lot of gas and then stops working even though gas is still left in the tank. Is there a gas pressure adjustment that may have been set too high thus when the bottle gets low the pressure is reduced and no hot water. But can still cook on the stove.....

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Gas continuous flow hot water systems will generally use between 160-200mJ to run while a cooktop one burner running will be 30-40mJ. Just becasue the cook top is running doesnt mean that there isnt a gas pressure issue. To answer your question. No. n I dont believe this sort of adjustment exists.

    • @seroweassociatesllc
      @seroweassociatesllc 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @SameDayHotWaterService Thanks. Next question , when the gas is low in the tank does the ambient temperature affect the pressure in side the tank? That is let's say on a cold day it will not heat up the water or hot day it does heat up the water.
      Asking for a angry wife who always seems to be the one in the shower when the hot water stops and I am the one who gets into trouble lol.

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@seroweassociatesllc If you are asking about water pressure then now, gas pressure no as well. Componentry maybe. Colder temperatures can affect gas valves/regulators. Metals expand and contract with temperature.

    i see the lowest temp on the B26 REUA2626WB instructuion sheet inside the cover is 40 deg "F" on setting 3... will it actually allow that setting of 40 degrees??
    (i can drive the buttons and program it easily) but just wondering if it will actullly go that low?

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it will go this low if you have the 60 degree version of the B26. If you have the 50 degree version I don't believe you can set it lower.

  • @mkwillis123
    @mkwillis123 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    So by going to max temp is that to 50 degs?... I have just moved into a new house that seems to be set lower than what I would like.... Assume the b26 is set to default... Any idea what default temp setting is?.... Thanks 👍

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Default temperature out of the unit I think is 48°c to allow for a 2°c + -. The temperature increase in the video is a 5°c increase to allow for the temperature loss between the continuous flow and the tap outlet.

    • @SameDayHotWaterService

      Hi Luk, Think you mean down? If so you can turn down the 60 degree model to 40, 42, 50 and 55

    Works on the rinnai 26 infinity Touch.. water was only 46°, now its coming out almost 54°.. why aren't these instructions in the booklets :/ my plumber didn't test water temp at taps or anything, the controller still won't let me select 55°(controller flashes and goes back to 50) but the system sends 54° water ...

    They say it may be the thermal fuse.

    My B26 model 2626WB won’t enter the programming mode when the black button is held. Any ideas?

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure. All I have ever done is followed these instructions and never had an issue with reprogramming. Could suggest a fault in the board (extremely rare) or otherwise unsure. Can contact our office direct to have someone attend or maybe get in touch with Rinnai directly.

    G’day Same Day. A quick question. I’m looking at buying a B26 and have been seeing 2 types and wondering which is the most recent model. One with 3 vents on the bottom and the one in the video have 2 vents at the bottom of the front cover. Thanks

    Very useful. Can this only be done by a qualified plumber? Or can an amateur do it and not void the warranty?

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would lean to advising that professionals only perform this temperature adjustment. I would be confident though a lot of DIY people would also be doing this though.

    Is it possible to run a too larger size gas pipe to them?

    • @SameDayHotWaterService
      @SameDayHotWaterService  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. Only negative on installing pipework to large is the increased cost for no benefit to the installation
