I have been following you guys for years and as a thinker female I enjoy listening to Antonia. You are a voice for women who have felt misrepresented in world settings where women "ought to conform" to traditional standards such as church settings or even patriarchal households. Thank you for helping me and others feel okay with being ourselves and embracing it.

I can identify with Persephone. Even as a mother, my natural tendency is to follow my whims and fancies. Yet in doing that, I sometimes forget to fulfill my duties, to the chagrin of my husband and myself. I see that committing myself to marriage and motherhood is a huge growth path for me, sort of like going through the Underworld with Hades, although it is a choice I'd made with full intention.

I identify myself strongly with Persephone (aside from Athena). My family always criticizes that I still have childlike innocence and youthful appearance. I tend to immense myself in my imagination. I have tendency to be devious since young. My boyfriend is quite of the Hades archetype, and when he says that he wants to bring me home, I tell him that it sounds like an abduction in the eyes of my family. I am on the path of growing out of Kore and becoming Queen.

I personally don't think Persephone was a victim. She willingly and fearlessly went down to the Underworld and Hades was surprised becuase no other diety ever ventured to the Underworld. That's why he offered the title of Queen of the Underworld to her. She also took pity on Hades' loneliness and decided to stay with him of her own free will. Hence she was a deeply empowered, courageous and complex being, even more so than the other "gods and goddesses."

OMG! Joel your just like my husband, we have 2 boys and little girl but he's in that state of mind where he always wants to protect our daughter. "You can't"! All the time, Life has to happen otherwise what will she learn in this life time. Before you come down here to live as a human life you have a contract and a plan, a perpose it helps you assend in a higher vibrational being, and if she won't learn her lessons she could be stuck in the wheel of karma as most people call it. If you can learn at least 1 thing from that harsh lesson then she could move forward.

So what alchemical goddess can archetypal "persephone" girls/women engage with to develop? Or is it persephone and getting in touch with our own underworld the way? And I'm guessing the "underworld" is our trauma right?

It's funny how all the woman identify w aphrodite as their major and yet its always about the good part . yet the downsides they do not speak about - wich shows they do not know it after all, nor embidied that much of it. there is a BIG downside to aphrodite. If someone is speaking of such subject of deep self archetypes in such deep way it surely is persofone big part! not aphrodite to brig such subjects up is also Hestia BIG time part. do not be fool. We all want to be sugar and spice and everthing nice. embrace xhadow wwith pride ! And them you may have the space for good time aphrodite.

There's a small mistake in your mythology references.. Zeus didn't liberate anyone.. he was the last child to be born of Cronus & Rhea and the only one that wasn't swallowed BECAUSE as per advice per her parents, Rhea gave birth to Zeus (the last & 7th child) secretly and sent him away to Crete so that Cronus wouldn't swallow him. When Cronus asked where the last child is, Rhea handed him a rock with baby clothes on it and Cronus ate it, then regurgitated up all the other children whole.
The reason Zeus is King of the gods is because of a lottery that he won between the 3 male children

Also the story about Persephone & Demeter is a little bit off. Would be great if you read over each story so it's accurate.. they're really interesting & worth it

No woman says its Hera or persefone nor hestia and yet what we see is lots of woman taking coaching sepnding money and time to be more detached (persefones so called dependt ) from men and 1 men oly for most. (Hera)
