This has been a great series, an excellent companion to the two books. I found myself associating the archetypes in people and trying to guess them as well, mostly fictional characters.

Well, this explains so much. Loved listening to this one. I haven't heard any of the previous podcasts before this one, but I'm familiar with the books. Thank you so much for continuing to do what you do!
This was even better than I expected it to be. My boyfriend has a significant amount of this energy. His ex-wife is very much a Hera and what you expressed about the Hera and Dionysus clash really resonated with what I know of his experience.
Some of what was expresses reminded me of bipolar symptoms which is a different discussion but I can't help but wonder how many men diagnosed as Bipolar also have Dionysus energy. When it comes to mental illness its the extremes and the inability to function that creates the need for treatment but I wonder if some are not quite at the level with their functionality yet they still have people suggesting they need medication so they can fit better into societies idea of normal.
It makes me sad to think of people assuming they are broken when they are really just outliers who need patience and understanding.
I've contemplated what the new archetypes might look like. I don't have any conclusions but I agree it is likely a unique combination of the others.
Theosophy talks about root races and how the golden age ahead will be the start of the 7th root race.

I sense the present climate is akin to post HENDRIX music where everyone was so spent that they just wanted to watch the grass grow hence CAROL KING, JT, CAT STEVENS, ET AL. I sense that your wonderous albeit wildly cerebral analysis suggests a huge sucking sound from a want of somatic orientation. To engage the POETICS of our structure would provide a primary and immediate metaphorical agency that would be integrative in general but restorative in particular. We could embrace transhtional space to fathom our person rather than our persona. This t-space is apt as it's the letter that would convert naive into native. Thanks for the inspiration. Dum spiro spero...as I BREATHE I HOPE!
I think this new father archetype will be something like sadhguru. He is indeed a Dionysus but very fatherly figure not like the old fatherly archetypes.
Dionysus comes across as somewhat Odinic to me.
