    Millennial here,
I don’t feel like my shadow is authoritarian but just vindictive cruelty. I could write an essay about how my generation is the only one trying but y’all have heard it so before. I’ll try to speak when it’s appropriate.

It can be tough to say the same things over and over and feel like no one else gets it. Thanks for the comment. ~ Joel

You guys are amazing! I love listening to your insights and perspectives. Honestly, I'm a young gen-x and that plus being an ENFJ makes me so much want to let others know about this generational and self understanding. Would love to see some summer camps for teens or college students! I wish I was trained to do this. I think I personally would have benefited so much by learning this earlier.❤ Thank you guys! You are all brilliant!

As a Millenial teacher, I agree with your point on education.

It’s very strange to talk about the matriculation and defining moments for the millennial generation without talking about the failure of the system we were taught to aspire to, without discussing the war on terror, the Great Recession and COVID

@@PersonalityHackerPodcast Failure of the system? What are you talking about? Terrorist attacks were not invented or introduced by Babybommers nor was Covid. Great Recession? Which Great Recession? Millennials have been born to the world of abundance and obviously struggle with the idea that they have not contributed to it by now.

Wow…this conversation was awesome. Totally relevant and on point about the millennial shadows…I would love more on this topic.

Parents that share the same generation as their child would be an interesting topic.

Generational concept is merely a concept, which is pretty arbitrarily set. How can we talk about a"shadow" of a collective which exists in our imagination only? If it is a model on the basis of birthdates, why is this model not just strictly mathematical?: 20 years plus another 20 years etc. etc.

Can I also be a peronality Hacker? I finished Clinical Psychology and CG Jung Institute in Switzerland. I emigrated from an Europeran Country without possibiliy of coming back. Then, you recognize immediately, that you are responsible for your life, since you are an adult.

Gen Zs are 27 - 12. I wish you could have accounted for that. But, overall great video.

We did't just make up numbers. We've been using this model as our basis since 2010: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strauss%E2%80%93Howe_generational_theory

@@PersonalityHackerPodcast Oh, Right! However, when you were speaking on Gen Z you kept saying that they are children and directed the conversation to their parents which was weird for me being an older Gen Z. I still got some insights but it was still a great video.

Millennials have been born to the world of abundance and obviously struggle with the idea that they have not contributed to it by now. Their resentment towards older generations is really a resentment against their own lack of skills.

To mentor those lazy whining guys, sorry! We cannot teach them discipline or strong will or motivation. If they want work-life balance with 90% "life", they will not achieve much. And no, millenials, you were NOT "following the orders".
Just pull yourself together and suck it up, guys.
