I wonder where/when Glory in the Meeting House originated. They use a very similar tune with the same name on the soundtrack of Sanditon, set on the south coast of England in the early 1800s.

No one knows, Its been hanging in the Appalachians for so long, it could have come from Ulster, England and mutated over the decades in America.
