Love the rapt faces amongst the audience. I had the good fortune to attend a Rayna Gellert workshop in Lisburn Northern Ireland a couple of years ago. Masterclass in cross tuning and droning. And no, I'm afraid I don't sound anything like her!
Very nicely done. This is deceptively hard,.. the transition from the A part to the B jumps from the low e double stop to the E string droning with the little finger on the A... It is hard!
I sure would love to see the rest of this concert if it's available - I didn't see it listed in your index of Full Concert Films. Thank you for your work in hosting and making the recordings of these amazing concerts available to us all! What a gem!
Lovely playing, I am really keyed in on the 90 degree angles of your first finger joint, aside from my little finger, mine are 15 degree, not great for the violin. Cheers.
Her tone and ear for the droning is unmatched.
I love this piece. It inflames passion in the listener. Great performance

Gorgeous playing as usual. Gritty and to the point. Great video quality. 👍

This is wonderful! The best version of this song I’ve heard yet. Masterfully done.
Lovely!

thanks so much for the nice compliments. unfortunately this is the only video from that concert
This tune sounds remarkably like another tune I’ve heard called “The Squirrel Hunters”. I like playing them together as a medley
And sounds a lot like Jerusalem Ridge
