This kind of complicates things, it would just be better to have everything remain as a zip, no one was complaining about that. Great addons, it's just this process is unnecessarily convoluted now. You have to download one addon to then use another addon, it's a little silly.
We actually had a lot of requests for this step. Give it a chance, you install engon once and then you dont need to worry about it ever again with the auto update feature. Asset packs are not addons, they are just models and can be used even without any addon which is also what a lot of people requested.
