Unlike the other live versions of this song, this one has almost nothing in the way of effects. To my ears, this is the most hauntingly beautiful and inspired performance of Little Wing in existence. You capture and articulate every nuance as if you were Jimi's chosen ambassador. It's a pleasure to listen to all of your takes on Jimi's music. Thank you for sharing. !!
Aldo Ugarte Cabrera there’s a really high quality video/audio recording of that concert(among other things) that the Hendrix estate is hogging all to themselves. I doubt Jimi would approve of the way his music has been hoarded and not shared with the world

One thing most folks do not realize is he left the 3rd (G) string open while playing those A, G, and Fadd9 formations toward the end of the intro, etc. This is the same arrangement as the one from Hendrix In The West so he had been doing it like this for a while. It's so short, sweet and beautiful. He played it as a song, not as an epic guitar soloing vehicle. One thing Hendrix did realize is less is more much of the time. He said it's not only the notes, but the notes be- tween the notes that are just as important. He let it breathe when it needed to.

Now to get to see someone NAIL IT note for note the way that he did on that live album just blows my mind. I could watch this video 50 times and still want to see it again.

I absolutely love the Albert Hall concert rendition of this. It has so much feeling. When I was around 16 i fell for jimi big time. I had a lp called stone free I think. This track was on it. Almost 40 years on and it still makes me choke up. Thank you for taking time to learn this, and then share it with us. I still have to turn jimi up to ear splitting volume when I listen. I know that's how he would have wanted it.

Super groovy...felt the spirit of Jimi..rhythmic and melodic articulation was great comparition to to lead part but wah...you nailed it as good as it gets.
I feel like the RAH performance is by far his most underrated of all of his footage; it really doesn't get enough praise as it should -- Hear My Train A Comin' is divine at this show.

He blows my mind everyday, every time I learn a song of his because his imagination and creativity was off the scale. The best ever. P.S you play this beautifully, it's a really tough version to play. The slides, shapes, dynamics, tone, technique but this was brilliant. Fair play to you. Your videos are awesome. Rock on, brother.
