Thank you for p r the explanation on everything. I have chosen to make this my next profession. I am a retired pro pet groomer current small farmer. Our local sharpener we lost many years ago. Do to throwing away lawn mower blades plus knives I am choosing to refresh what my father taught me basics of 50 years ago.
Thanks Matt. I’ve just made up my mind to join the guild and take your courses. I found your channel a little over a week ago and I wish I had found it sooner. I recently bought an Edge Pro system and I order a Work Sharp Ken Onion Elite system a couple days ago and is supposed to deliver on the 9th. To bad I didn’t know about the discount earlier. 😕 I may order something else though. I’ve enjoyed watching your videos and have learned somethings as well. Thanks again. Joe
Right on, Joe, I look forward to working with you. Yeah, bummer to have missed the discount, and you'll see in the Guild that the discount we get on Work Sharp Tools is even better that what's available through the Fundamentals Course alone. And yo, so you and all know, the way I'm reading your comment is: "Hey Matt, thanks, I've decided to invest in myself." I respect you for that. Catch you in the Guild and I look forward to connecting in person to learn more about your story and what you're trying to build.
I am about to watch your video but I see you’ve shut down the teachable to focus on the guild. How does being in the guild teach one to be a better successful sharpener, and successful entrepreneur?
Enjoyed the video. Wanted to pursue “Fundamentals of Knife and Tool Sharpening Online Class” but the link takes me to the guild. Appears the information in the video is outdated?
Yeah, I had it on teachable for a while but was losing money on it and I realized it was distracting me from the thing I'm more passionate about which is helping people make money from sharpening.
Yes, when done correctly. But it's also possible to damage knives of not done correctly. This course will help you develop an understanding of that question and answer.

Is it safe to sharpen expensive knives on the ken onion worksharp? Wustoff and Dalstrong. Etc.
Yes, when done correctly. But it's also possible to damage knives of not done correctly.

@@capnmatt41 ok I’ll look into it. Thanks.
