I’ve known Coarie for 25 years, we knew each other way before our active addictions but we were in active addiction TOGETHER for many many YEARS until it ultimately tore our friendship apart!! I am so proud of her for sharing her story. I’m almost 3 years into recovery and still have NOT shared my story!! I’d love to share it one day!! I haven’t been ready! So proud of her!!
Coarie, I had no idea what you had gone through. What a great interview. I'm so sorry to hear of the abuse you suffered. You did not deserve that. I am so happy to see you have risen out of the ashes to become who you really are. I am so proud of you. You are awesome.
Coarie, I can only imagine how difficult it was to do this interview. I am so proud of you! Never forget that God loves you and so do a whole lot of other people ... including me!
This is my sister. I don’t really know her or her troubles. I wish I did. I have had friends that fell so hard to addiction that they could never make a video showing how life could be if they could be sober. This testament of recovery should serve as a message to others, you can have a life and you deserve one free of addiction. I’m sorry that I don’t know Coarie well enough to call her a little sister and that I couldn’t be part of her life. But I am super proud of her nonetheless because hitting bottom and finding the way back up to the surface is far harder from the bottom. So glad you have found a path and hope we can meet again one day.
Thank you! David? I wouldn’t trade the life I have today for anything in this world. My struggles have taught me so many lessons, which I am grateful for today. Life is so bright, all the time in the darkness was worth it to have the freedom and joy that I know today.
