Two weeks sober today. I feel great. I was sober for 7 years before going on what was essentially a 4 year bender. I lost sight of my recovery. Lost my faith in God and my spirituality and stopped working my program. I am back in this thing, jumping in feet first. It's not an exaggeration to say this last run almost killed me. It's not easy, but then again, nothing worth it ever is. One day at a time. Thank you for these videos.

Loved this video! Very inspiring to hear how he went from being the person who wanted to “check out” to really enjoying how good things are now. Happy for him! He will be a GREAT recovery coach 😊

My 35yr old son died July 2023 trying to detox on his own. Had been estranged from us for 2 years living in a shared psychosis with his wife. Apparently he hadn’t had a drink for 42 days - multiple organ failure - saw him for one hour in icu - intubated and eyes taped closed - he passed the next morning . I’ll always wonder if we could have helped him - I am so glad I found you - it helps me understand bit by bit.

Wow I remember being afraid to sleep too! I had terrible night terrors going through withdrawals for about 3 months. Thanks for the reminder!

Awesome story. Definitely related to lot of your story. I been in and out of recovery man it's a horrible place to be. Just don't like the fact if some people out there who really need help but don't have insurance are doomed. Stay strong brother

Wow, I love this video!!! Thank you for sharing. I knew you had to stop everything. Not just cut out somethings.... and switch spirits for beer. I believe the very believable story. That rehab's reccomendations not stopping everything altogether at the same time.

I lost my sister to fentynol in 2006 that was dr prescribed.. so now my biggest fear is I lose my brother to alcohol and my parents were both alcoholics my brothers the only family I have besides my daughter & my nephews I helped raise with my sister! My biggest fear is losing my brother to alcohol and everybody in his house takes advantage of him&his kindness when he drinks..his blood pressure has been bad for 4 years& he drinks morning &night because of stress ..mymom&h is gf&this 30yr old boy they don’t care as long as their comfortable. My brother won’t listen but he mean to me but all I do is tryn help him.. mymom & his gf they don’t care😔

Thank you so much for sharing your story, Clark!!! Amber, can we get his contact information as a sober coach? Also, can you tell us what type of program Clark went through? Was it a PHP program?
