I have had several files from etsy do this and I always message the seller. They are great at sending me another file. But I would rather fix it myself. Finally found the video i needed. Thank you!
Thank You so Much! I purchased these svg files from esty and they were in pieces. I sat here for days trying to figure it out. This video help me cut and place it on the coffee mug in no time! You just helped me Level UP!
Thank you so muvh. I bought what I thought was a simple ONE COLOR svg, and when I uploaded it it seemed to have 100 pieces. What a mess. Thanls a lot for this.
Just your tutorial, you did an amazing job of explaining and showing us exactly how to work with svg files. Thank you for taking the time to share your talents.
I was a little slow figuring out how to make a shadow of an svg file if it didn't come with one. Thanks for showing how. I think deep down I knew welding would work.
Hi Corinne! Sorry if this duplicates, I had my question typed out & I dropped my phone & it disappeared. Do you know if there's a way to print bundles like this, so people could look through them to see all the different SVGs I have? Thanks for anything you can advise?
I'm downloading free svg files online to make stickers for some kids at my church. When I upload them and put them on my canvas, they are in pieces and not even attached to the mail subject. I don't know how to fix these to make stickers because I can't even do an offset or anything until it is in one piece. I hope I made that clear. It's just weird.
A lot of free svgs are not created well. You would have to ungroup the whole design and then move everything in place and then flatten for print then cut
Even when I group my layers together The machine still Tries to cut the inside of my design. What am I doing wrong? Please help. I have ruined too many sheets now Of good quality Card stock. Like yesterday I tried to cut a bucket and two gnomes. Two different SVG files. After grouping the layers together Each on separately The machine Started cutting Into the lines Inside my design.
Also you can easily tell before you cut if things will cut wrong so stop cutting before you look at the mats on the screen. If they are not right on the screen they won’t cut right to begin with
@@gadgetseco9864 oh you can’t extract files from design space. Number one they are not SVG files and number two there isn’t a way to truly save them out of design space without having to then convert them to an SVG from a screen shot and you use resolution. If you want to design things to send to people use silhouette studio or inkscape
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you for prompt answer. May i have your mobile number for quick clarifications. If you do not mind. It will be ok in any case.
I’ve been messing with an Etsy aristocrat file for weeks. You’re instruction tutors is exactly what I’ve needed! This video is so helpful! Thank you!

I have watched this several time but I have a horrible SVG. And I have tried everything. Nothing is working. Help.
I’m having the same problem. I could just scrap the SVG and buy a new one but I’m afraid the same thing will happen.
I liked your video, although it's a bit beyond my skills lol I'll come back and repeat as necessary! Thank you.

You don’t use group. Attach is what you need to use when cutting. Group is only for use on the canvas not for cutting
Also you can easily tell before you cut if things will cut wrong so stop cutting before you look at the mats on the screen. If they are not right on the screen they won’t cut right to begin with

Most computers will show SVG files as an html document those are your SVG files
@@CorinneBlackstone So if we send svg file in explorer design to our client in fiverr, will it be acceptable to client?
