  • Today I visit Brick Lane in the East End of London. Each Sunday a popular street food market takes place. I try the Poutinerie poutine - chips, cheese curd, gravy, rib meat and the rib man's hot sauce.I take a walk around the old Truman brewery and check out some of the graffiti and street art on my way back to old Spitalfields market too.

    Hey Robert! Good morning from Washington! Hope you are doing well. I really enjoyed watching this video this morning while drinking my coffee it was really relaxing. I really enjoy watching the people walk by and seeing the fashion and of course all the amazing old buildings. The videos you make are great just showing every day life I really appreciate what you do. The food looks so good it's making me hungry! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make cool and interesting videos. :)

    Awesome video, mate! I'm off to London in the second two weeks in June and have Rib Man on my agenda. As an expat Canadian living in Stockholm, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some of my beloved poutine. Thanks for all of your work with your food vlog. They are amazing and I love your dialogue.

      HI! +Shawn Duff Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the vlogs. Yeah a few people have commented that it looks like real poutine with surprise. I think in the past we got cheesy chips past off as poutine but there are a least a couple of street food stalls in my vlogs doing proper poutine in London now. The one with the rib meat and hot sauce on top is a favourite now. I think it is Sunday's only.

    Hi Roberts. The street name is written in Bengali which is a language in India and Bangladesh.

      Thanks! I guessed India not Bangladesh, but I was close. Makes sense I think the majority of Asian first wave of immigrants to the area was from Bangladesh not India - now I know for the future.

    • @RobertsLondon
      @RobertsLondon  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI! +hiyasweets The vlogs and videos are filmed in the days and weeks prior to being published right now I'm 3-4 weeks ahead because I have been vlogging every week but that lead will diminish through the summer as I will take time off. So the published on date minus a couple of weeks is a good indication of when each one is shot.

    Good Morning, Robert. Coming to London in September. Want to know, how I schedule the museums. Where to start, which ones to go to first, and can I use a bike in Downtown London. Is that a good idea or not. Thanks. Really enjoy your tapes. Also, on a budget. One more thing. What do I stay away from?? What part of the city is a mistake for a Tourist. Thanks again, ed

      London street food tend to be a bit expensive, one of the cheapest I've seen is new Goulston street, not too far from Brick lane. I prefer to pay a pound or so extra to sit in a café or resto with lunch time specials as its crowded with no seating there.

    00:33 seconds in: 1) there is no language called 'Indian'; 2) you need an apostrophe between the 't' and 's' in your name, as in 'Robert's London'.

    • @RobertsLondon
      @RobertsLondon  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      1) I said I GUESS the sign is written in Indian! Just to clarify for you, what that means is I don't know what language or script that is. And I don't know all the languages of all the countries in all the world. So I reckon India was a pretty good guess.
      2) Roberts is my Surname
      3) How very dare u grammer Nazi th-cam.com/video/N4vf8N6GpdM/w-d-xo.html

    Over priced for what you get. I`m sure it`s good but again way too much money. This video ran almost 30 minutes and the food commentary only lasted about 3-4 minutes. Way too much talking about history that no one cares about. The title was very misleading so therefore I cannot in good faith support you.
