    Hi my husband is from Iran and I’m Native Canadian so I wanted to learn Persian specially when our (almost) 2 Years Old son, is learning Persian&English at the same time and he can understand a lot of Persian words and sentences because of it ,
    I’m just having some issues trying to find the first episode (video) of this playlists!

      Thank you form your comment! I hope my lessons have been helping you with learning Farsi. Lesson 1 is not uploaded because it needs more work. But I can tell you it will be about the alphabet only. I wanted to come up with a comprehensive lesson about the alphabet. The grammar lessons starts from lesson 2. Hopefully if time allows I can go back and finish lesson 1. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    A very good lesson, Maryam. Thank you very much for explaining the ی after خوشمزه. I have been looking for an explanation for this for quite some time. I noticed that you pronounced it explicitly. The ی in Persian sentences has different uses, please try to explain them whenever it is possible.

    • @persianHow
      @persianHow  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are welcome Camile! I'm glad my explanations are helpful! Sure, I will try to mention it again in other videos. If you have a question you need help with, always feel free to ask me :)

      Salaam!
      Part two will be published later in late intermediate level. You need to know subjunctive and relative clause for part two.

    Thank you once again! A question for you:
    برای این که، چون.
    Can these two be used interchangeably? Hopefully in a few months I’ll be able to ask the question in Farsi. Not yet. :)
    Edit: And after watching further you explain it! I should have finished the video before posting!

    Pizza-i khoshmazeh v/s Pizza-i khoshmazehi…..pls explain the difference. Is it the same as A tasty pizza v/s The tasty pizza??
    Also, how do we pluralise pizza??😅 since it already ends with an alif..

    • @persianHow
      @persianHow  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      پيتزايى خوشمزه
      Here بى is referring to the indefinite article “a”
      A delicious pizza
      پيتزاى خوشمزه
      This one the ى is for ezafe to connect پيتزا to خوشمزه.
      In general the يی versus ى is a bit confusing for the learners. I explained it in more details in lesson 2.

    Please I want to understand why you said اسم من مريم. هست. Instead of اسم من مريم است.

    • @persianHow
      @persianHow  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no difference between هست or است. You can use both interchangeably. As a general rule, هست is more used in spoken language and است is more used in formal language. I hope that answered your question!
