Silverstein is one of the most underrated bands from the 21st century
this is fucking perfect I've been a fan since when broken is easily fixed and even though as I grow up a lot of bands just don't sound good to me anymore no matter how old I get Silverstein is just one of those that will always have a special place in my heart for old songs and an eager ear for new ones
my thoughts exactly. no other band has really grown as much as they have. I loved when broken is easily fixed and just never get sick of listening to them. from that to this, their music has always been a go to and still is. I love it.
Honestly man I'm not like obsessed with Silverstein but I still always listen to their new releases and they never disappoint, so I totally understand what you mean. I was big into all the post-hardcore music in early high school years ago but now I can barely stand to listen to half the bands, Silverstein rocks though.

Exactly wha it think, i like a lot of bands like ADTR and TDWP, and i can't like their new stuff, but with Silverstein seens like with every new album they reinvent themselves but still good as always.
The beautiful thing about this song isn't that his voice is soothing and melodic, but its more of the fact that throughout the song you see the introduction of all the members one by one and in the end they join together in a rock ballad. An amazing and meaningful creation by a great band once again.
Silverstein is a band I'm gonna turn on when I'm 90 and just smile, because my heart is just filled with memories of them.

Silverstein has always been one of my top bands. To me Shane writes lyrics that fit with how I feel, which is crazy. It's like that My Morning Jacket American Dad episode. "It's like we're soul neighbors and I'm constantly borrowing sugar.." LOL

Silverstein will always be my favourite band. Albums such as Discovering have so much meaning and have got me through a lot of stuff in my life. all I can say is thank you Silverstein, for being the best band ever.

They all live in Toronto now. They say "We are Silverstein from Toronto Canada" during live shows and have merch with Silverstein // Toronto on it. I think it's safe to say that they're from Toronto now.

shane is from toronto is especially in Scarborough and I live pretty close to his old house.
They are more Toronto than most torontonians. These guys have been a staple of the music scene here since the early 2000's. Giving Up was one of the most played songs in my circles, Smashed to pieces changed how I viewed music. Silverstein defined Toronto Screamo/Emo scene. They have been producing records for well over 15 years now and Shane is still churning out amazing music. It's safe to say that Silverstein IS Toronto.
Song gives me goosebumps, heard this live with my cousin, he passed away 2 weeks later. Song always makes me remember how happy we were seeing you guys. This song will forever have a place in my heart.

I love this city. Can't wait to be back in Toronto. I was going through the darkest moment in my life when I first went to Toronto to sutudy and this city and the people I've met there changed my life forever, now I feel like I am a Torontonian born in São Paulo, Brazil.

This song is stuck in my head daily. I love how it starts out with a single guitar and gradually brings in the other instruments until it builds to a crescendo and then ends with a just a single strum of the guitar as Shane softly sings the last line. I'm dying to see these guys in concert.
I'm gonna be moving out of Toronto on Nov 9th to winnipeg, and honestly I'm gonna miss this place with a passion because I called it home for about more then 9 years, and more good bye toronto please keep growing without me, and maybe one day ill bring my kids to see your pretty face but for now it's goodbye, and thank you for everything.

I feel a sense of amazement every time I listen to a Silverstein song. I can’t think of another band that constantly makes their current album better than their last. Everyone has their favorite Silverstein album, but no one can deny their work ethic.
Silverstein is my favorite band. I don't get to watch their music videos to be honest. I just buy their albums whenever they release them and listen straight through. I never know which tracks are singles or will become one.
I am glad they chose this song as a single. There is something to be said about a band that can write hard music and still be able to compose great ballads.

This song will always get to me. It changed me so much. Just over a year ago i felt like everything was falling apart and saw no hope because no matter how hard i tried to explain my feelings no one really understood it. I hated my city (which ironically is basically toronto), most of my friends, and just about everything in my life. I had listened to Silverstein quite a bit in the past, but hearing this song changed my life. For the first time since feeling so low, I felt like my emotions and thoughts were being put into words. I remember putting this song on repeat for hours and just crying my eyes out. Seeing Shane play it live at Warped in Toronto was surreal to me.
It reminds me of one of the darkest parts of my life, but it also reminds me of how I got back on track and became a better version of the old me. Thank you Silverstein for this amazing song. I would love to one day let you know how much you changed my life

Just to let everyone know on april 23 2018 there was a van attack in toronto that left some people injured And some people dead when i first listen to this song if reminded me of what i love about this city i know we are all in shock but we need to come together and show everyone that we are toronto strong
