For those wondering, I didn't destroy any of the stuff I took down. I stored it in my various observatories and strongholds. It felt more insulting to hide it away in a personal collection than to destroy it. Also, I didn't convert the council chamber into my throne room, I converted the central spire. Can you believe they only used it for knighting ceremonies? And finally, no mention of the water slide in the Room of a Thousand Fountains? I get not bringing up converting Yoda's quarters into my private bathroom, but the water slide really exceeded all expectations.
We do know about that week you spent with a few gallons of different colors of paint. The appearance of many prints of someone's dark side on the floors, walls and ceilings.
makes sense to convert the Jedi Temple into the Imperial Palace, since in Legends, the Imperial Palace was mentioned many times but never seen since there was no way to find a consistent look for it. But in Legends until the prequel movies were released, there was no mention of any Jedi Temple on Coruscant, so it was smart for new Canon writers to turn it into the Imperial Palace. Bonus points for Palpatine to basically turn it into the ultimate middle finger to the Jedi, literally taking their most important temple as his personal party house.
In legends there was a "palace of the Republic" that Palpatine made into his palace, only using the temple as a propaganda tool to further tarnish the jedi's image
@@ghostofwolfmoonmani3877Meh, sounds boring. I like it better when Palpatine converted the Coruscant Temple into his palace as a middle finger to the Jedi.

It is often mentioned what Palpatine knew and Vader did not. I am curious about what did Vader know. What sort of Sith knowledge did he have? Did he study the encient Sith, did he go looking for some secrets himself? Did he know something Palpatine did not?
Dumb as it might make my nerdy self sound, I sometimes wonder how Palpatine learned all of the more spiritual, sorcerous ways of the Sith? Not that he couldn't, but his own Master, Darth Plagueis, and his master before, Darth Tenebrous, were so much more scientific; they didn't seem to put much stock in "magic", abd preferred their own applications of the Force that were more tried, tested, and reliable, or things that didn't necessarily use the Force, and possibly attract Jedi attention, at all. At least one past Sith Lord also tried to destroy a lot of it, so I wonder when the busy politician found time, and resources, to study that? Plagueis didn't keep much from him, but also knew that there were things that he didn't want to teach Sidious, and it might seem weird to imagine he learned all of that just in the tone after the Jedi fell. And maybe it's just the difference in flow between Legends and canon; I'm not sure.
The Nexus of Coruscant was created by the Time Lord Rassalion by using the core of a black hole. And the force to create a second eye of Harmony aka the Nexus of Coruscant
This is very nice :) Interesting. I wondered what he did to the Temple. You can admire Paplatine what he did,in a way. We can imagine renovations he made. May the Force be with you too😊
Thanks for the background. I'm lost in the story of why no Jedi Master checked this area out in periodical time frames, as good house keeping, to ensure the foundations if their temple was solid. Seems like they didn't care. Who acted as custodians for all the Sith artifacts after Palpatine was killed? I'm sure there'd be a huge hazard warning on being near them, let along visiting the foundations? Who could the foundations net be flipped back to the light side? Surely there must be a way? If the Sith have their sorcery, then the light must have their own, or ways of countering.. the knowledge would've improved over time?
While reading legends I always got the feeling he completely tore down the jedi temple, and built the imperial palace in it's place. With many of his specific designs and ideas included. Obviously, he would have left the sith shrine, but there is also a passage in one of the legends books that states Palpatine had a huge banquet for everyone that worked on the palace after it was built, and he just murdered them all so nobody knew any if it's secrets unless he personally told them. So even if someone knew or saw the sith shrine they would have been killed at the banquet.
I just realized this but the world between worlds is basically the Void Which Binds from the Hyperion Cantos series written in the late 80's early 90's
I prefer the Imperial Palace in Legends, it just feels so grand. I think Darth Krayt had a great idea of turning the Jedi Temple into a Sith Temple and training new Sith there.
I didn't even think he did such a thing to the jedi temple since we know that Star Killer did visit the temple during his time and it was still in ruins.. maybe it happened sometime after? idk.
Now while I know it's a legends source, we actually get to explore a good bit of the temple in The Force Unleashed, granted this isn't 2 decades into the imperial age but it's still significant as Galen explores up to the high council chambers, and some of the archives this seems to indicate Palpatine possibly did less to the interior than one would expect.
