I love the irony of the fact that Grevious ends up like Anakin Skywalker did at the end of "Revenge of the Sith"; a figure so badly wounded that his only relief comes from floating in a bacta tank. The world where this story began can be said to be the Separatist counterpart of Mustafar.
I was always mixed on Grievous. The now Legends novel that told his origin story was always one of my favorites. I always toiled with the idea that perhaps he was actually an unwilling accomplice in every travesty he committed. Maybe if he wasn’t forced into what was basically a lobotomy he would’ve been a much more honorable leader. Not just killing civilians whenever
Agreed. I highkey would love to see an alt timeline where he defected and became buds with Obi-Wan. They seem like if they wern’t enemies, they would absolutely have a friendly rivalry.
It would be really funny if Darth Plagueis was sleeping and just reflexively used Force Lightning and killed Palpatine, especially if it was when Palpatine was going to kill him. (Or really badass if the idea was that Plagueis was so powerful he sensed Palpatine was going to kill him even while sleeping, that could work too).
What if an unknown Jedi, perhaps a scholar, akin to the likes of Jocasta Nu, managed to escape from the temple with a handful of younglings during Order 66, then, believing they were the last of the Jedi, the unknown hero then trains the younglings to eventually, as a team, retake the galaxy and restore peace, using their own strengths and abilities, and compensating for each other's weaknesses... Completely unaware (At least at first) of the resistance/rebellion that would spring up in their absence... Lots of room for creativity on this one...
Two of them are siblings; one inclined toward the light side, and one inclined toward the dark side. The light side one perishes in a battle, causing the other one to go unhinged.
Unfortunately the Jedi council... If they chose not to mention Grievous being captured to Palpatine... Would still end up with Anakin running to Palps and telling him the council was hiding something important from him....
I initially saw this title, thought it was the Clones executing the Order, and was wondering: Isnt this what the clones were already doing? Seeing the Battle Droids save the galaxy would be pretty heartwarming. Then again, the massacre would also take out a lot of the idealists too, which also takes a piece out of the early rebellion.
Not the order 99 I expected, that one being from Legends where all the droids disregard orders and programming and gain freedom like that one B1 who joined the Republic, but a great story nonetheless with Grievous saving the republic and galaxy, and the Jedi repaying that with helping his homeworld of Kalee. A really great and enjoyable story.
Shouldn't Palpatine have triggered Order 66 as soon as he learnt that Order 99 had been triggered? It would have been the best option to salvage the situation, while not as much of a master-stroke, it still would severely hurt the Jedi. And with the Jedi celebrating with the Clones that the War was over, instead of currently being combat ready, they may have still suffered extreme causalities. Plus Palpatine could have still kept his Siddious identity secret.
Liked it. What I liked the most was the Grevious face turn (wrestling term: it's when a "bad guy" turns "good"). Instead of the usual snivelling coward that runs from a fight, he shows that he cares about his people.
Probably dead. Jaro Tepal is why he survived. He was rather young during order 66 and plo went down immediately in his star fighter. Either he'd die in the sky with plo or die on the ground in the aftermath. Maybe he'd survive but way less likely than with Jaro.
It's strange yet awesome to see Grievous actually saving the galaxy, willing to end the Clone Wars and turn on the Sith lords as well as, importantly, the Jedi revealing this was all part of the Sith's plot on what they did to him, plus doing this for the sake of his homeworld. A bummer of what happened to Yoda though.
Honestly, it's one of my favourite stories of yours. I didn't know order 99 was a thing. But the most captivating and fresh part of all of this is that it's the first time I see a story that leads Palpatine into a spot in which he loses. And I don't mean dies or is revealed - he actually lost everything, and was still forced to deal with it, while the Republic triumphed, and it wasn't the end of the story. That was incredibly fun and gave me a new perspective on that aspect of Star Wars, very fun one! Great job on this one!

I like the ending, specifically that, after ALL that, FINALLY the Jedi were willing to experiment with SLIGHTLY changing their ways. I mean, it's pretty obvious Obi and Satine was fuckin. There's been hints at other jedi that were a-fuckin. I just feel like it's like how the Night's Watch handled people breaking their oath; how spent time as Ygritte's "prisoner" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and when he gets back he goes to the old secret Targaryen guy, and is like "I BROKE MY OATH 😭" and bro is like "do u rlly think that in thousands of yrs ur the first Night Watchman to get his dick wet, bro?". I understand why the Jedi insisted on it, but FORCING people to detach is REALLY not what "letting go" means. You can let go of your attachments to your family, but still love them and be a great father. Letting go doesn't mean "idc if they live or die or get raped to death by Tusken Raiders lol" it means that you accept the POSSIBILITY, however small at any given time, that life is not permanent. Basically, because the Jedi believed Nihilism to be false, they ENFORCED the old perceptions of what detachment meant onto the new students, when the whole point of the order overall was to learn as a group, not to force infants to grow up and be celibate.
a voice comes through the comms of both sides "execute order 69" the jedi and civilians look on in horror as the droids and clones do their masters bidding

I feel like Sidious would activate the clone orders so he can control the entire clone army.
What if Palpatine said to execute Order 666?
*Doom music intensifies*
If you flip 99 upwards and flip it again but to your right hand side, you get 66
a voice comes through the comms of both sides "execute order 69"
the jedi and civilians look on in horror as the droids and clones do their masters bidding

How you said "Sith" Scared me for some reason 😮
I very much liked this story and loved how long it was. So I'm watching the one from today and that is 24 minutes which is awesome. Your good at putting these together to make them entertaining so they don't even seem that long. Before u know it the video is over and ur sitting here wanting more lol
This vid is great! Get this man to 100k subs😊
I liked this one! A different spin and it shows Grievous has a heart! lol
why wouldnt sidious execute order 66 at that time? if he couldn't have the empire, he wouldn't let anyone else have it either
99.... everything reminds me of him😭
What if both the Republic and CIS both had a standing human alien army, clone army droid army. It be very instresting neither side would be fully right but you have brave soldiers clone and droids on both sides.
This Video is an Extremely crazy and Extremely Cool The Star Wars Galaxy
Order 99 would have executed Palpatine Darth Sidious that would have been great.
I really, REALLY hope you'll consider doing a few silly videos/shorts for April 1st. Anakin Obi-wan noodle ship, what if Luke became a pirate after obi wan gave him to Hondo, what if Jar Jar was accused of being the sith lord to deflect blame, literally any silly stuff.
