- Input: yellow screw.
Green slider has the green nut that together with the input screw create the first screw-nut drive.
Pink slider of inner thread and the orange screw create the second screw-nut drive.
The revolution joint (two blue pins and the circular groove on the green nut) allows the orange screw to rotate together the input screw and move axially together with the green slider.
The first and second screw-nut drives have leads of L1 and L2 mm of the same hand.
If the input screw rotates N revolutions, the pink slider performs a displacement of N*(L1+L2) mm.
This mechanism may be used in
• Three-stage linear act...

This looks much more sturdy than your "Mechanical Telescopic Cylinder 2"
Thank for your work, truly inspiring.
mr you are an einstein
Siempre quise saber cómo funcionaba el gato de las Ford Ranger 😎👍
Hello I look for this type of compact piston. Where can I found some in Europ ? I would like to press water in a cylinder of 10 cm height and 8 cm diameter to press water inside in order to obtain 10 bar of pressure. Thanks
Sorry, I do not know.
Thank you for sharing Master
Thank you once again.
Very cool!
Very good work
How could the yellow thread and orange thread can turn at the same time?
What method did you do?
Thanks!
There is a prismatic joint (sliding keys) between them. See the video last scene: the key grooves are on the yellow.
How would you compute the axial force by the pink slider from the motor torque driving the yellow slider?
great work
Another hobbyist? www
Hi I like your videos and watch all of them never miss any videos. Great work. Love from Pakistan.
Greetings from Vietnam.
Hi, where can I find the file for this project? Thanks in advance for the reply
Please read the video description.
What keeps orange from not moving under force from yellow? Is that what the blue bolt is for and if so, what should the sheering-strength of that bolt be? I imagine you would want to include a torque limiter to yellow to protect the bolt at blue.
Two blue pins prevent the orange screw from axial movement.
The number of pins can be more: 3, 4, 5 or 6 to bear axial force.
Would it be fair to say that for a 2-stage mechanism, the video #1 is optimal (fewer moving parts, fewer bearings) whereas for a multi (3+) stage mechanism, the #3 video illustrates a good scheme. (In other words _this_ mechanism can better be avoided).
Great work sir .will you upload step data of Design ? Ty so much for share
Link to download the STEP files has been added to the video description recently.
Thầy ơi, có tài liệu nào nói về cách tính toán, thiết kế hệ thống như này
không ạ
Tôi không biết có hay không.
hello. could you make this for a n20 engine? with m4 threaded rod
Sorry, I can't. It is too complicated.
@@thang010146 okay thank you for your responses
Thanks...
nice
Hello, I have a question, is it possible to make an extension arm using M8 right and left threaded connected in the middle?
Yes. Please refer to
