Again your sweater is a work of art! I am about to embark on the Dornie sweater. It will be my first all over cable sweater. I have only done a shawl with cables and one sweater with some cables. Thank you for another great video!
I 100% agree. This project is a masterpiece. I am so glad I decided to give it a go. The Dornie is lovely too. I have my eye on Rebecca’s current test in the lace pattern… v-neck with short sleeves for Spring/Summer. Ooh la la!!
Impressive!! To be a fairly new knitter, you chose difficult patterns. I get together with other knitters and it's so fun and we learn from each other. Isn't knitting a joy?!!
It’s a beautiful sweater! I also love your pressed flowers shawl. I’m currently about to finish up the pressed flowers hat. Our LYS did a pressed flowers kal and we could choose the sweater, shawl, or hat. One person did a mod on the hat and made a pressed flowers cowl. All the color choices give lots of variety for sure. Thanks for the mini episode!
The Pressed Flowers collection is just wonderful. I am sure your hat will be much treasured! It was my first time working on a mosaic pattern. It was quite fun! I have a couple more mosaic shawls on my “knit list” now.
@@Knitweekend I have enjoyed knitting it. I love any kind of colorwork. I will probably knit another one at some point. But I really want/need to get through all my wips first! 🤦🏻♀️
Hello!! I just wanted to come in here and say welcome to TH-cam 😊 happy to see a new channel to watch, im normally a lurker but do leave comments from time to time. Would love to hear more about yourself. Do u only knit? Or do u crochet too? Also please never apologize for ur beautiful kitty(ies?) Most of us love and also struggle with them 😅 Im a self taught crochet and knitter, I learned off of TH-cam, and have been crocheting for around 9 years and knitting for around 4yrs I do believe. Anyways. Love the content so far, can't wait for ur next upload. -Jess 😊
Oh thank you, Jess! I’m glad you commented and said hello. I will share more about myself over time. So keep checking back. There’s so much to share, but everything comes flying to my mind all at once and I leave stuff out. BUT to answer your question… just a knitter for now. It’s my first and only fiber art. Look forward to getting to know you!
Lovely podcast and Eurus. Let me just say that the designer of Eurus is herself very petite and looks amazing in the oversize sweater (I’ve seen her ‘live’ in it), and you do, too 🥰
Helle, thank you so much. This is a high compliment from you!! Your podcasts are always a highlight of my day. I always love to see what aegyoknit you are working on and hear your insider thoughts on them. Thank you for putting in the work to get them into my English language hands. Your life philosophies are just icing on the cake!
Thank you, I ve been thinking of making this sweater. Your turned out beautifully. I agree about the proportions. I was wondering about the Hjeholt yarn. Can it be worn next to skin? I understand from your 1st episode that you like rustic wool. How rustic does it feel?😊
Oh I’m so glad this was helpful to you. I can absolutely wear it next to skin. Because it’s also knit at quite a large gauge in this pattern, the yarn can really bloom and soften in blocking. As I mentioned, I did a several hours long soak starting with lukewarm water. I think this really helped to soften the fabric straight away. But I will say my MIL did refer to it as “scratchy”. So I guess one woman’s soft is another woman’s coarse. Maybe there is a smaller project you can try it out for? I would hate for you to knit this and end up now being able to wear it!!!!!
Hello from Ireland 🖐 home of the traditional Aran jumper/sweater, I was so interested to see the pattern running horizontally, I find it intetesting, I love your finished project, thank you.
Hello Mary! Thank you so much for watching. It is an intriguing construction. I should probably knit up a traditional Aran jumper one of these days. If you have any recommendations for patterns or yarns, I’d love to hear them!
I’ve been eyeing the Eurus sweater for a while. Thank you so much for sharing your experience knitting it. I’m also petite so your insights are extremely helpful. I looked at their Hjelholt site to try to order the yarn but it’s in Danish 😅. Did you buy the yarn from their site or another web shop?
Hi! I’m so glad this video was helpful to you. I purchased from Garntopia in Oslo Norway. I’m not sure where you are located, but They ship to the USA. So I imagine they would ship most places in Europe as well!
Your Eurus came out beautiful 😍! I actually started one this week and so far it’s going well. And yes I totally had to get very organized with the charts / repeats to start this project. But reading ahead and I am not understanding the part where I will need to cast on for the body… and was hoping you’d talk about it…lol . I know she made a video but on it she only casts on few sts as opposed to the 26 that are on the instructions….. would you be willing to help me out 🫣🙏😊
Hi yes, glad to help! Since it’s a paid pattern I didn’t really want to go into the transition from sleeve to body because I felt like it would give away a potentially unique part of the construction for free. But please feel invited to DM me on Instagram and I will tell you how I handled it.
Well done, interesting and helpful, thank you.

Yes, knitting is regularly the highlight of day along with the lovely community around it. Thanks for commenting!!
This sweater looks so lovely but intimidating! The only other cable sweater I've knit is the moby. Great podcast :)

I love Suzanne's wisdom also. Beautiful sweater.
Thank you!! She is just the most helpful knitter on TH-cam so far as I’m concerned.
A work of art and you look amazing in it ❤
Those cables are GORGEOUS!
They truly are!! It’s a masterpiece for sure.
@@Knitweekend Truly! 😍
FYI she came out with an updated pattern for the Eurus. It’s much easier to follow but still has a few errors. Yours is beautiful!!

Well maybe I should include that in next week’s mini for you. Thanks so much for tuning in again!!

Absolutely! Check back tomorrow. I’ll be posting a mini episode that includes my Pressed Flower shawl.
