I wonder if anyone really truly knows how cool this would be to own. Not only is this vehicle very seldom ever seen nowadays but it is also beyond the Wow Factory!!
You may be a "VW gearhead" but everything that Jay shows&relates about "The Thing", is truely impressive. So wallow away in obscurity with your company and I'm sure this"Thing" will grace some carlovers garage. You ain't gonna see another one like this beast. Amen!!!
Please add the missing engine tins. A small investment for the life of that $10k engine! Like mentioned in one of the comments, without the proper tins that engine will not last. The custom side vents is insufficient ventilation. Nonetheless, very nice build!
Cool VW what a stunning Thing, sounds like a German Mouse without slippers wow thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩
The rear engine shroud is missing. Starts around 6:34. You'd expect a car built with this level of detail not to be missing an engine cooling component.
