Y’know this video kinda reminds me why I got into watching quills videos in the first place - he always explains things as he go. So many LPers who only do certain games just filter it out after awhile cause they assume everyone watching knows exactly how things work. Still remember coming across him when I wanted to watch some SimCity gameplay, got into his Gods and Kings: Persia series in old Civ 5, then CKII (Death to the Falieros!) - and, well, been watching ever since. I dunno, just caught myself feeling nostalgic. Thanks for so many hours of amazing content Quill - looking forward to watching you for many more years to come 💜

Liked and subbed. I really appreciate you doing an EPIC play-through, as that's the speed I play on. Given that you were only sponsored for the first vid, shows you really enjoy the game too!
Love the idea of the preserve. In ancient history, the land was not covered in masses of mines, lumber mills and farms. there was much hunting and foraging grounds, and sacred valleys and such.
Quill the tech boosts for trading post in other civ cities is only for first trading post so you only get 7 boosts in a 8 civ game. So going crazy with making trading post in other civ cities is not as great as you are thinking

Traderoutes get cancelled once you go to war. So what you could do is time your traderoutes, send them all out at once against one civ. Then the same turn, you declare war on that civ. Now you just got inspirations equal to the amount of traders you have, which you can use immediately again. So as long as you can declare war on someone every 30 turns you get double the amount of inspirations.
Yeah Vietnam is super OP. Unless you somehow manage to start in the desert and don't restart your game, it's next to impossible to lose a game with this Civ.
Yay, new LP! Nay to the hastily made choices. "Don't see why we can't settle in place." Quill not sure if u meant to do this but it looks like u might not have one of the previous dlcs enabled. I think there should be six game mode options and u have 5. I think u are missing secret societies which I believe came with Ethiopia. Not a big deal if u weren’t planning on enabling it or playing with Ethiopia anyway but u might want to tick that on if u want to play with those in the future.
Kublai Khan's ability isn't as powerful as you initially stated, I am pretty sure the developers said that the eurekas and Inspirations only happen the first time you set up a trade route in another civilization's city, so only once per civilization. It is still a powerful ability though.
Hey Quill! Remember how you have trouble spotting hills?? There is a better hills mod that changes the UI for better visualization. Please upvote do he sees this guys!! Thanks!!
Wanted to point out that Gandi wasn't complaining about your lack of military units. He was praising you for being peaceful as part of his Peacekeeper Agenda.
I just started watching this series, I swear, I have not looked at any of the comments, but I bet, as soon as people saw Ghandi, there is probably bunch of comments about you getting nuked....

I remember watching quills Civ 4 and 5 videos! Looking forward to this series :)
sup potato! love your content mate!
When quill did his intro just then potato, for a split second I thought he was going to steal your heeeey!
I remember learning how to properly play Civ from Quill
You two are playing the same game verrrry differently... I appreciate that, it shows the wide array of play styles possible here.

Death to the falieros!
That game is how I learned the basic of CK2 and found Quill. Good good times.
The only good Faliero is a dead Faliero.
Anyone else notice the river called “Da River” just south of the capital? Feel like we need to name a city near it “Da City” in it’s honour
and to the west of it the sweat(c-wheat) river :)

Great to welcome Civ back. Would love to see a shuffle (tech & civics) run

Finally another Civ from Quill!
I was almost certain that you were going to introduce the video with a Hey Spuddies. Name change to Kraft Dinner McMolson?
Why is there no Secret Societies option? You don't have all the DLCs???

When I saw "Nuke them into oblivion" Gandhi, I got worried.
yea correct me if im wrong but doesn't gandhi start with 7 nukes
why would they translate the Nine Dragon River Delta (Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long) but not the Voi Chiến (War Elephant) and Thành (Citadel)?
Maybe because no one could pronounce it.
One - two syllables pronouncing is already too much duh.
Petra + big desert + preserves = win
Found a mod for hillier hills, it's called "Hillier Hills (Colder Tundra Edition)

Why corporation and industrey only for luxury resources. Why not for iron oil and uranium
Are there any mods like Cbp making the AI much better?

wOOp !! ... new civ play ^^ ... Rimworld great series, new Civ series, what is this? belated Christmas

Whiskey and chocolate, what else would they pay him with.
Building preserves with pedro is seems kinda broken...
