Well that was awful nice of you. You're a good human being😊. I would like to know what's wrong with mine. I don't want to keep buying parts just to fix it.
I have 7 grandchildren and have built a gaming PC for Christmas for all of them except one, because she didn't want one. The reaction when they opened it on Christmas was worth every dollar.
I've been building PCs for 24 years. I don't do it hardly at all anymore for others. But I like the fact that you think forward. You think about the user and what his needs are and his experience level of being a PC user. Most people are intimidated by PCs and don't understand how they operate or even what's inside of them to some extent. Nor have the capability to fix or troubleshoot problems that arise. It's easy to forget those little details when you've been building PCs, reviewing them, and troubleshooting them for so long. Good choice of components. I'll see others skimp on the power supply, when its genuinely one of the most important pieces of hardware to keep your computer running stable and for a long time with clean, stable power.
I just finished putting Windows on my 11 year old nephews first PC. His dad is surprising him with it for Christmas. I can't wait to see the reaction video when he see's it. :) Definitely a great feeling building for somebody who hasn't owned one.
Coming back to watch this channel once again after a whole year and I am blown away by how much weight Jay has lost. I knew you could do it man congratulations!
Today we put together a system for my husband, who does casual gaming only and is currently on a 4th gen or 5th gen intel processor system with a whopping 1g video card. 7600x + b650 mobo + 32g of DDR5 @6000 + rx 6650xt gpu in a Lancool 216 (LOVED building in it, btw, the cable management is s tier). For our son, who is about to turn 13, has been extremely helpful and getting mostly great grades and loves gaming but is currently on a 6th gen intel processor with a 4 gb video card, I'm building a system next weekend as follows: 9800x3d + X870 mobo + 32g DDR5@ 6000 + RX 7800XT + 3T of SSD, most of which is very fast + Arctic Liquid Freezer III AIO. His birthday and Christmases are usually pretty low key, and his birthday is like a week after Christmas, so ehhhh but he's turning 13 so we're kind of going all out this year.
Damn those specs on your sons pc :D (btw why the choice for going for a X870 mobo? What about b650e + the extra money saved on the mobo into a 7900xt?)
7800XT's are monsters. They really don't get treated with the respect they deserve. Easy 3ghz overclock out of them and are pretty easy to cool so they maintain that high clock. A great chip.
Back in august i built my first pc. Luckily i have a microcenter a couple hours from me in MA. I grabbed that same mobo, with a 7800x3d and a 32gb kit cl32 gskil x flare, montech 903 max case and an asus dual oc 4070 ti super. That mobo, ram and processor bundle deal was a life saver. And jay, thank you forn making the content you do. I knew exactly what i wanted to buy because of your channel. I never saw myself being able to build my own.. thanks dude.
Why did you get a cl32 kit instead of the cl30 kit? Nothing wrong with the cl32, I have flare 6000 cl32, but I got it because the cl30 was ~20% more expensive.
@@mybrotherjames8579As the op said, it was a bundle deal. If it's similar to what my microcenter offers, you almost get the cost of RAM in savings. Definitely worth missing out any benefit you'd get from cl30.
That's an awesome parts list for a first build! Good on you for having the courage to dive in and build it yourself. I remember how intimidating my first build was.
@mybrotherjames8579 it's just what came with the bundle deal. The RAM isn't even officially supported by the mobo... if you go on the gskill website and check, but in actual practice the expo profile works and i get the full timing profiles... can't complain. It was 499 for the ram, mobo, and 7800x3d... at that time the processor alone was 430 bucks if you could find one
I know you had a fixed budget but I would not put an 8GB GPU in any system any more, especially if you think they have a 1440p or higher monitor. The 3070 will be easy to sell and upgrade once they have more money later though. I also recommend friends who I help with first builds to get 850W or 1000W PSUs as they can easily last 10 years and a GPU in 2-3 years is likely to need more power. The CPU you chose is very efficient though so I get that helps offset the requirements. I try to recommend people save up the $100-150 more if they cannot afford a 12GB GPU in order to avoid something that will start causing problems in the near future and will cost more in the long term when they have to upgrade it
I was excited when I bought the stuff for my first build and put it together (was scared I would ruin something just by touching it wrong lol), but I was _WAAAAAAY_ more excited getting to help my preteen son (at the time) pick out parts for a budget build and showing him how to put it together a few years after I had built mine. He and I don’t have a lot of mother/son time anymore as he’s gotten older, but I was giddy when he finally came to me asking if we could look into ways for him to earn money to buy some of the parts if we could help him with the rest. He let me deal with putting in the CPU and cooler along with getting the PSU situated with cables, but I made him hook up the rest. The kid lit up like a tree once it booted which is the moment I was most excited for with seeing his reaction … until he realized he still had to install Windows, update drivers, flash the bios, adjust settings… That’s been a few years, but I like that he took an interest in it and has continued to try with staying on top of things.
Wildly enough, I just built my sister a PC very similar to this. I picked up the 7600X3D MC bundle and got a 3070 from my brother to make it all happen after repurposing stuff I had in it originally. If ever it needs to be upgraded, it's a very straightforward process. Maybe a new case, and updated fans.
I feel you with Montech. I just got the Montech XR and absolutely love it. It's a great case. Fans are a little loud but you know. $70 or so...I can live with them. Edit: It also fits my Gigabyte Aorus Master 4090 with room to spare. Yes I know $1900 graphics card in a $70 case.... PC was originally in a H7 Flow but decided I wanted a slightly smaller fish tank case.
I just got that bundle a few weeks ago and have been loving it was a huge upgrade from my i5 9400f I had in it. Thanks to your videos for making feel comfortable to do the upgrade my self and get things set up properly
Jay's videos literally helped me build my first pc after i got my first big girl job in tech, which was high-end watercooled pc (13900KS/4090). Went through a lot of trials but his videos were literally lifesavers and despite being several years old still very relevant. No other tech tuber went as in depth.
@@Jayztwocents we still love you, Jay! It’s part of the charm lol. Tbh, when I clicked the vid I thought, ‘Nothing (cell phone co) is getting into PC parts, no way!’
My grandpa built my first computer in 2013, Been learning about pcs and switching all my brothers from consoles to pcs (No one warned me of the i.t job that came with it) Then 2023 christmas i built my dad a whole computer setup. But this year my nephew has been very good in school so we decided to build his first pc. Which is crazy to think 10 years ago i received my first pc and now 10 years later im able to give the same gift.
I still love it when you do build videos. Reminds me of the old days when you were in the bedroom, then the garage. Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family.
I’ve Been studying DIY PC Tech channels obsessively for the Last 10 weeks as a newb to the pc industry and after learning the process along with trying to become Hardware literate. I can now say that JayzTwoCents is currently my favorite creator. You can tell he loves what he does and it seems to me that he genuinely cares about his viewers and wants them to get the most out of their Pc experience that they can while getting the most value out of their time and money. Can’t wait till I’m able to afford to build a pc of my own. I Appreciate you Jay! Keep rocking it as a creator!
I bought the Air 903 Max after you did the video about it and i love that case, very good price to performance ratio, good build quality and good airflow.
The Montech Air 903 is a S tier case at an affordable price. I built my daily driver in it and it just works. Montech has released nothing but bangers this year in terms of pc cases and I'm glad you chose one of their best ones for this video. Great video you guys!
I'm not gonna lie, I really really really like the new setup for the building bench area with the way the Phil/Nick can record and the table top background color makes it easy for my old eyes(33yo) to see everything clearly....should have a black tablecloth on set for when you are building an all white pc....😁
@Kmaitland89 didn't say I was old, said my eyes were old. They've been through more than most eyes....Basically what I'm getting at is it's a metaphorical way of saying I have sh17 eyes you idget...
I still maintain Micro Center doesn't actually exist. Until they open one near me, or actually allow SHIPPING of the parts I want, they're as real as elves, fairies, or Eskimos.
Over 300 miles for me. I just wish they would ship. I mean if it is only 3 and a half hours away, you would think they would ship more things but 99% of what I find says IN STORE ONLY. They essentially sell MONTECH cases as their in store brand but shipping on those they do ship makes them basically twice the price. I would even venture to drive there but there is not guarantee what I want would even be in after I have driven that far.
Pretty sure they don't deal with shipping is probably because of scalpers and possible shipping damage on expensive parts and just don't want to deal with those problems. (These are just my thoughts idk if true but would kind of make sense.)
I am equidistant from 3 Microcenters--in Detroit, Chicago and Indianapolis (roughly 150 miles each). I actually drove down to Nashville for a long weekend and debated about going to the one in Indy, but it was a long weekend and really just wanted to get home.
Oh thank GOD Jay gets to do something he actually enjoys! The news more than occasionally gets dark and swirley and sucking the fun out of Jays life and I know that is *not* what we would all would like to happen. Kudos to you and your crew sir! Never Change! Peaceful Skies
Due to lack of availabilities of microcenters, I actually ended up mailing a gaming buddy one of their mobo bundles before they changed how bundles work. Its actually so nice helping someone go from a 1660 and.. i dont even rem his cpu, some sort of ancient intel cpu, to a modern rig with a 7800x3d and 4080 super. We sat in discord while he held his phone camera up so i could walk him through building his first self made pc. I do hate how they changed how bundles work though. You use to be able to swap the motherboards and sometimes even the ram and still get the discount.
Looks like a well-balanced PC Jay, and your cable management looked good this time. When I upgraded my uncles pc so he would be able to use Windows 11 I used the standard Ryzen 7600x and an Asus ROG Strix X670E-A Gaming WiFi (overkill I know), I originally bought it for my 7950x but switched to an MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI I also had 32gb Intel spec DDR5 for the Asus board so I saved some money there, I used the Phanteks Eclipse G360A for his pc and a Corsair H150i AIO (overkill for that CPU but it'll stay nice and cool). His PC is running a stock non super 2070, more than enough to play his games like SWTOR. For cable management I prefer to use a zip tie gun like one of those cheap ones you can find for $30 or less on Amazon or the more expensive Panduit GTS-E that I've used at work, you can adjust the tension on them before it cuts the zip tie.
I’m in England right now building my two best friends 4090, 9800x3d builds for the holidays. I gifted them their first PCs 6 years ago. And now we all met up for the first time and I was able to gift and build both pcs with them. One of my favorite weekends ever.
Hey hey England here too, just built my daughter's first pc for her 21st went with a 7900xtx build as I got it at a steal for £715 - she was so so happy and you're right, best weekend ever 😁😁 you have lucky friends, have a great Christmas 👍🏻👍🏻
That is a great build. And you definitely have the experience to give them the best price and performance for the money. The case is awesome for air flow.
I really appreciate the focus on value, functionality and upgradeability, yet still providing a _performant_ and attractive system. This is the same approach I take. Unfortunately in Canuckiistan we don't have US pricing or Microcenter so we are severely handicapped, but I enjoy and appreciate the video. Thanks Jay.
I recntly got done building my PC and Lastnight I got done setting it up since I had to wait for my keyboard to arrive. I'm glad I got my very own PC and that I have friends who bought the stuff for me to put it together as a Christmas Gift
@@brandon_gbI am enjoying it very much. Just doing alot of fine tweaking with Auto Fan Controller and playing games like Fortnite and Minecraft at a better framerate compared to my mid range Laptop
I love the fact how excited you're on someone else build and the way you think about all the parts. Not just thorwing it together like it don't mean anything
Building someone's first ever gaming rig IS super satisfying. And, it can be quite the challenge depending on the budget. I also like to throw things in that I have laying around to help with the budget. My lack of research on CPU cooler height compatibility is their gain! lol.
I just built an itx build for my little brother, featuring a 12400f and rx 5700xt. He absolutely loves it, and it smashes anything in 1080p. Seeing his face as he was trying out some of his favorite games was so worth it
i do agree that building a pc for someone when they have never had one is the best feeling ever. I personally never done that, but im trying too! currently have someone who wants a PC and they got a budget of 2000$ i am definitely going to take your video suggestions and apply them to this person's PC especially since they got a bigger budget. keep up the great content i have been watching you for 4 years now and you never disappoint!
Thank you, heart warming build for Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄 I hope we get to find out what the first PC game is installed. Love the Montage! Great beats and MMM THAT COOLER PEEL 🔥
Yay! I got the Montech Air 903 Max for my current build based on your review. Had to wait a few months for it to be available in the UK but glad I waited.
Your what to do after building your gaming PC helped me out when I built my first computer last December. Informative video, the OOBE shortcut to make a local account was a life saver.
I had bought an old prebuild open box at microcenter at the onset of the pandemic with with a 2060 and a 2700x. I spent... 800-ish $$$ last year got a 7800XT, at 32gig kit of ram and a 5800x3d and one of the aquarium style montech cases. Putting everything together myself and seeing it boot up just fine that first time was a hell of an experience for someone who had never even opened a case before.
This is off topic and I’m not sure if you actually read these comments or not but as I was watching your videos for new build inspiration and ideas, I actually bought the pro tech toolkit from “IFixIt” after seeing them in most of your videos. I was able to revive a MacBook Pro M2 that had been dead for 2 years after spilling red wine on it. At the time, I took it into a repair shop and the technician said that my only option was to buy a new MacBook m2 because the cost of repair would be the same. Instead of throwing away a $2000 machine, it just sat there collecting dust. With the kit, I was able to take the whole thing apart with ease and completely wiped everything down with isopropyl rubbing alcohol. As I was putting everything back together, I was kinda nervous thinking that 6 hours of cleaning was for nothing because the thing had been dead for so long and had corrosions. As I popped the case back together and plugged in the charger, the device lit up with life. Here’s my TwoCents, keep up with the tips and advice videos for us who are still learning. Team IFixIt!!
Just built a $600 complete system for my ex’s son. 5600x & 1660 system. I included a monitor and mouse and keyboard. PC gaming was something he enjoyed when we were together and only thing I had to buy was a motherboard. Hope he really enjoys it.
I just bought that Micro Center bundle to upgrade from an i5 9600K. Man what a difference. Before my CPU was bottle necking my 3060 Ti. Now I'm getting the full power out of my GPU and it's awesome! Plus now I'm not stuck on a dead platform.
I recently upgraded cases from a Cooler Master Q500L to a Lian Li O11 Air Mini to help improve the thermal performance of my i7 14700K and 3060 12gb. So much easier to build in a dual chamber small case. Such a sick build, Jay!!
I wish micro center would hurry up and expand. I live about 20 miles north of Seattle and it's unbelievable to me that this tech savvy city doesn't have anywhere to buy parts in person outside of best buy. How do we not have micro center here already?
You should put a "Jayz" Sticker/signature on your builds. That would be something to be proud of, and might even increase the value of the PC. Who knows, in another 50>100 years it could become a highly valuable collectors piece.
i actually just built my first tower after buying gaming laptops after years and years. Thanks for the set-up tips video, that helped me a lot! I went with Asus/Corsair build, i9-14900K, 4080super. I am still excited about it even if rtx 50 series is around the corner. Thanks Jay.
That’s pretty beast for a first build coming from laptop. Can’t say I didn’t way over spec my first build for how I was using it, and 20 years later I still do. 😂
Hey Jay, my wife and I have been watching you for about 10 years now and love your vids. I'm a disabled gamer (quadriplegic on primarily console ) and college student. I'm looking to get into content creation / programing. I've purchased the parts for a mid range build (7900x and 7800xt all white matx) but haven't gotten around to build it. I'd love to get your help with assembly. I'll try emailing you too.
just spec'd out a build for my nephew. A firm 1k budget we couldn't spring for the 7600x3d but rather went with the $299 7600x + mobo combo. Now it's time to hunt down a 3070 on ebay for around $300. My brother was pushing for a 4060 but I convinced them a used 3070 will be better.
I just built a media server and I've never given a shit about cable management before. I got corsair case. I decided to try. I'm proud of how it turned out. I think you would be happy with it. It's starting with a 2tb drive 32 gb ddr4. I had a spare 3600x (super limited used) laying around and a b-550 (never used at all) motherboard also laying around. I went with an Intel A310 GPU for $99. It's perfect for media encoding. I'm not playing games on it. Just running a jellyfin server. Now (not including the spare parts) it cost me about $570. I had to buy wifi as it wasn't a wifi board. Fortunately gigaparts has wifi adapters! Giga parts is like 1/4 to 1/8 the size of microcenter, but it's a similar type store.
I learned a lot in my youth working with outdated hardware, trying to upgrade it, optimize it, and such to get it to work with newer games at the time. With that in mind, I would buy the kid a junker PC with something like an i7 6700 to 8700, 16gb memory, and toss in a 1050ti or intel arc card. For basic 1080p gaming that's usually enough. If they want more, they'll have to figure things out.
@jayztwocents I found your channel and have watched it and it's finally giving me the confidence to try and build a PC for my 10-year-old daughter. I can't in good faith call it gaming PC because it's going to be using really old parts but it's the best I can do financially. However, I want her to have the experience with a PC because I feel it's such a vital skill for future generations. So the best I can do right now is an I-5 3570k a GTX 460, a 500 w power supply and an MSI board an old Dell XPS case from when they used to make gaming PCS using that instead of just Alienware. Anyway again, just wanting to say thank you for what you do and I enjoy watching your video
Current sales were great! Grabbed a 7600x & 7800xt combo with ddr5 6000mt + decent case, fans, psu, etc. Build came out to $1,000. I'd highly suggest if you want to upgrade try and do it now before prices skyrocket again. Edit: If I reused my old pc (which is still decnt but I plan to resell it to get some of my expenses back from it) I could have saved on case, psu, storage (tech I am just giving the new owner a good upgrade 1tb ssd), and the motherboard. In reality you could pick up a system for $600-$1000 depending on what you have on hand. I also "balled out" on certain components because I wanted them.
the microcenter bundle is a goated value except i dont like the fact that they sell with CL36, the same G.Skill flare x5 ram is available at CL28, thats an absolutely massive reduction in latency. And price between these two timings is most likely 10-15 bucks
@@Jayztwocents lol I remember I got 6000MT/s CL30 from newegg for $110 and CL36 was like $95 about 3 months ago and it made sense getting cl30. but that CL28 is a crazy price maybe its new release or short on supply...
@@Jayztwocents Where are you finding $399 at? I can't even find the Flare X in stock anywhere at CL28 but the Z5 Neo RGB which is the same as the Flare X just with RGB is $129. Even with that said, the CL30 is only $99 which is $10 more than the CL36. I'm not even concerned as much about the CL36 as I am the fact that it being CL36 means it is Samsung or Micron which have looser sub-timings than Hynix which the CL30 is. When it comes to DDR5, there is Hynix, then on a tier way down below you have everyone else. Almost like how Samsung B-Die was when it came to DDR4. EDIT: Found the X5 at $399 buried on Amazon. Honestly it looks like it's probably a temporary price or a pricing mistake that they aren't expecting anyone to buy it at since it says it won't even ship for 1-2 months. No reason for the X5 to be that price when the Z5 Neo RGB which is a higher tier as far as GSkill's price structure is only $129. Even their "Royal Neo" which is typically their most expensive RAM is only $146 for the same timings.
The Air 903 Max is a great case, worth $100 and nearly always available for $75 or less, in black or white. Along with slightly smaller Air 1000 Premium, it has become a no-brainer go-to for my builds.
Good to keep apprised of what to recommend people when they have a mid-range budget. You forgot the link to the "what to do next" video in the description though.
I went to my Micro Center last week to buy some new monitors and man were they cleaned out of a lot of stuff. That must be the craziest store to work at on Black Friday.
Wire management always gets me. The systems I’ve built for other people I probably over zip tie to make sure everything is neat and tidy. My personal systems… if you can bang the panel into place it’s fine. 😂
Current desktop is in a Montech Air with a Deepcool AIO. Have another I built in a Lian Li Mesh White with a Deepcool White Tower ARGB cooler, in a box after building. Built my Niece a white one for Christmas last year it also has a Deepcool AIO, also a Montech case. The White Montech was a solid as the Lian Li. Always liked Deepcool, too bad they are gone at my local MicroCenter now.
My first fully purpose built gaming rig used an Athlon 64 x2 6400+ Black edition. My first PC was a 486dx and then a Pentium II. Both of those I had to modify to play games. Adding a game card for the controllers and better video card. On the Pentium II I had a 16mb Rage card initially and then went nuts and got a 128mb Radeon. Such a beast. On my Athlon build around Christmas 07 I had an Nvidia GT8600 I was ballin in college.
Probably wont get seen. But... OpenRGB for the strix card is a sanity savior. When my card had the strix cooler on it, once it was supported, thats what I used. While anything is better then armory crate, it actually made the cards RGB useable.
I definitely suggest going with a TP Link Ethernet Adapter for the setup if straight wired isn't available. It's FAR faster than pure wifi. I was having issues staying in lobbies on Valorant and it got to the point where I was getting 2-3 DAY bans simply because I would lose connection for a second, reboot the game and get back in maybe 2 rounds later and play the rest of the game. Bought the ethernet adapter that sends ethernet through your electric outlets and I've never lost connection in a game since unless I'm having legitimate connection issues due to a storm or the company doing maintenance on their box that's located near me.
I'm building my second ever PC atm, a miniATX build for my 9 year old Grand nephew in law... Everytime he comes over he plays with my computer, he's rather play on it than eat. So I figured he's got the computer bug, so I'm building him a nice computer as a surprise.
i built a computer for my nephew this Christmas. budget around 750 i got the first montech case that you and ditched those fans because of the daisy chained molex got some knock off lian li inf fans on amazon that was argb and pwm controlled. also put my old 980ti in there but he plays war thunder and roblox so it should handle it i did tell his mom about the b580 if she wanted to upgrade to current tech on the gpu
Nice little build, new owner should be very happy! I'm surprised to see the enthusiasm over the CL36 ram. There are tones of CL32 and CL30 ram sticks out there at 6000mt.

7600x + b650 mobo + 32g of DDR5 @6000 + rx 6650xt gpu in a Lancool 216 (LOVED building in it, btw, the cable management is s tier).
For our son, who is about to turn 13, has been extremely helpful and getting mostly great grades and loves gaming but is currently on a 6th gen intel processor with a 4 gb video card, I'm building a system next weekend as follows:
9800x3d + X870 mobo + 32g DDR5@ 6000 + RX 7800XT + 3T of SSD, most of which is very fast + Arctic Liquid Freezer III AIO.
His birthday and Christmases are usually pretty low key, and his birthday is like a week after Christmas, so ehhhh but he's turning 13 so we're kind of going all out this year.
Would you adopt me please 😢
That's Awesome! Lucky Boy!!!
I'm smiling just from imagining his face when he gets this. And I don't even know what his face looks like!
He's absolutely gonna love it.
Love the Cambridge microcenter,it's nice living only 15 minutes from it
I know you had a fixed budget but I would not put an 8GB GPU in any system any more, especially if you think they have a 1440p or higher monitor.
I try to recommend people save up the $100-150 more if they cannot afford a 12GB GPU in order to avoid something that will start causing problems in the near future and will cost more in the long term when they have to upgrade it
Solid understanding of parts and methodical build out. IMO this is my fav content here.
Loves these Micro Center/build videos - always so relaxing to watch and see what you guys put together
The kid lit up like a tree once it booted which is the moment I was most excited for with seeing his reaction … until he realized he still had to install Windows, update drivers, flash the bios, adjust settings…
That’s been a few years, but I like that he took an interest in it and has continued to try with staying on top of things.
Uh oh,bro got a housefire chip
6:01 what a nice smile :)
Nothing makes me happier than proving someone their first Gaming PC!
And proving that they can't "proof read" - 🤦🏻♂️

Parents always give the big gifts in our house. Santa gets credit for other things
11:55 HE REMEMBERED THIS TIME. The facial expression is hilarious.
This!
Great video you guys!
ugh, so happy we're getting build videos again.. i've missed them
I love build videos, they're so satisfying
I'm not gonna lie, I really really really like the new setup for the building bench area with the way the Phil/Nick can record and the table top background color makes it easy for my old eyes(33yo) to see everything clearly....should have a black tablecloth on set for when you are building an all white pc....😁
You are not even 40... This isn't even close to old. I think people don't understand what old means anymore.
The one closest to me is about an hour away.
Love the Simpsons reference 😊
Pretty sure they don't deal with shipping is probably because of scalpers and possible shipping damage on expensive parts and just don't want to deal with those problems. (These are just my thoughts idk if true but would kind of make sense.)
I am equidistant from 3 Microcenters--in Detroit, Chicago and Indianapolis (roughly 150 miles each). I actually drove down to Nashville for a long weekend and debated about going to the one in Indy, but it was a long weekend and really just wanted to get home.
I've not really gotten the opportunity to ever build a PC for someone, so watching someone do it exactly as I would is comforting.
Oh thank GOD Jay gets to do something he actually enjoys! The news more than occasionally gets dark and swirley and sucking the fun out of Jays life and I know that is *not* what we would all would like to happen. Kudos to you and your crew sir!
Never Change!
Peaceful Skies
My EVGA 3070 is the gem I will never let go. Such a great card.
Ill be your #3 friend lmao
Hey hey England here too, just built my daughter's first pc for her 21st went with a 7900xtx build as I got it at a steal for £715 - she was so so happy and you're right, best weekend ever 😁😁 you have lucky friends, have a great Christmas 👍🏻👍🏻
He has money out of his ears lol
@ not exactly. But I like gifting things to the people who can’t always treat themselves because despite their efforts, life just isn’t fair.
@@michaelb3576 Dude if you can build 2 people 9800x3D & 4090 systems, you most definitely have money coming out of every orifice..
That is a great build. And you definitely have the experience to give them the best price and performance for the money. The case is awesome for air flow.
MONTECH AIR 903 case is just incredible!
I built my first pc in it. Been very happy with it
Jay is an awesome guy. Much love Jay
Thanks Jay.
Really love ur vids Jay, pcs are my hobby and i know i cant do anything but Just Watching You is enough for me, looking forward for more vids to comee

The 3070 is a decent entry for PC gaming but I would have preferred something with more V ram for the extra head room down the road.
Microcenter bundles are goated
They’re a pretty good starting point and are pretty solid deals as long as you have access to a store.
Too bad it's US exclusive
Building someone's first ever gaming rig IS super satisfying. And, it can be quite the challenge depending on the budget. I also like to throw things in that I have laying around to help with the budget. My lack of research on CPU cooler height compatibility is their gain! lol.
Love your video's! I studied a lot of them before finally building my first PC in May of this year
I just built an itx build for my little brother, featuring a 12400f and rx 5700xt. He absolutely loves it, and it smashes anything in 1080p. Seeing his face as he was trying out some of his favorite games was so worth it
I appreciate you Jay. You do amazing work. Great video. I always enjoy your videos as I watch from my 8 year old laptop. Enjoy your day.
I appreciate that!
Just did one of the bundles for my wife yesterday and I did one last year for myself. It's hard to beat those Micro Center bundles.
i do agree that building a pc for someone when they have never had one is the best feeling ever.
Building my first when I get home from deployment. Coming over from console and only ever owned a laptop. I’m beyond excited!
A friend gifted me an ifixit kit, it's so awesome. Makes working on PC easier, as well as anything else that takes little bits.
You're the greatest Step-Simp Dior.
Thanks for helping people out. Been a big fan for a long time
THANKS SANTA JAY!
Nice tunes during the build montage. I enjoyed that.
I believe in santa, and someone is going to feel the joy of Xmas with this PC, nice work J.
Always love the Microcenter videos.
i actually just built my first tower after buying gaming laptops after years and years.
14900k is a bold choice.
I'll try emailing you too.
best rgb light color for a blacked out PC? Purple.
What a good Santa's helper you are jay, that kid is going to be so stoked!
Great component choices. I love my 903 max. Great value!
just spec'd out a build for my nephew. A firm 1k budget we couldn't spring for the 7600x3d but rather went with the $299 7600x + mobo combo. Now it's time to hunt down a 3070 on ebay for around $300. My brother was pushing for a 4060 but I convinced them a used 3070 will be better.
I actually bought this exact same bundle about a week ago!! Price for performance of the parts is great
I just built a media server and I've never given a shit about cable management before.
This is awesome! Jay you're such a beautiful human! Love you big dawg! ❤
My favorite TH-cam channel. Jay is the best
1:22 good refrence
That X5 28/36 is $399 on Amazon.
@@Jayztwocents Damn, that one is 130 Euros in my country.
@@Jayztwocents LMAO here newegg available shipped and sold for $120 F5-6000J2836G16GX2-FX5
The Air 903 Max is a great case, worth $100 and nearly always available for $75 or less, in black or white. Along with slightly smaller Air 1000 Premium, it has become a no-brainer go-to for my builds.
Good to keep apprised of what to recommend people when they have a mid-range budget.

Just built my second pc. Watched your how to build a pc for the 70th time. Piece of cake lol.
I recently built a new pc and drove from AZ to Tustin CA to get that processor. silly of me but it was a fun trip
Nice little build, new owner should be very happy! I'm surprised to see the enthusiasm over the CL36 ram. There are tones of CL32 and CL30 ram sticks out there at 6000mt.
